JD: In the city of Jerusalem there are over 150 people, Jewish people, who claim to be direct descendants of King David and they want to work at restoring the Davidic Covenant. One of those is Rabbi Yosef Dayan who claims to be a descendant of Israel’s first king, King David.
Rabbi is that correct do you claim to be a descendant of King David?
Rabbi: In matter of fact, yes, but I want to correct you, its not a claiming, it’s a fact. It’s proven, so it’s not anymore claiming.
JD: So, then in fact you are a member of the Sanhedrin but as well you are a descendant of King David?
Rabbi: Yes, we have not only a tradition through all the generations but documents that prove that. Today they want to say you cannot prove that. I don’t know why they are saying that, especially if they are rabbis. Because we have a tradition that we have living kohanim that nobody questions that they are really the descendants of Aaron the priest, the kohen, that’s the reason they call themselves the kohen.
JD: So you’re claiming then rabbi, as I understand it, that there is going to be a King in Israel of the line of King David. But the descendants of King David are ready to put together the Davidic Dynasty. In other words, in line with what it says in II Samuel 7, the Davidic Covenant, there will be a descendant of King David in Jerusalem with a Temple, all of these things being prepared. And so the descendants want to move ahead to put in place that Davidic Kingdom and put the Temple up and have their King. Is that what you’re saying to me?
Rabbi: We have a tradition, it's a saying in Hebrew, I’m going to try and translate it in English, "the redemptor is coming to Zion," that doesn’t mean He isn’t living today in Jerusalem. But that’s not the point ,the point is really who is qualified to be the Kingship.
JD: Rabbi Dayan who claims to be a direct descendent of King David. We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Word of God claims that Jerusalem will be the center of the next kingdom that
will be set up here on the earth, and indeed it will be a kingdom where Jesus
will rule and reign from.
II Samuel 7, says that Jerusalem
will be the location of the Temple where a descendant of King David, Jesus Christ,
the Messiah will rule and reign after He builds the Temple on that sacred piece
of real estate.
God’s Word says that Jesus is the One that is qualified to be that coming King. He indeed
is coming and He will be King.
And that
is my prophetic prospective on the news today.
