Russia has warned Israel not to enter Syrian airspace; however, Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel has rejected Putin's warning

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: Let me ask you about the fact that Vladimir Putin basically told Israel you cannot enter the Syrian airspace. Israel said hey, we’ve got to protect our people so the Prime Minister said we will not hesitate to go in there when we need too. This is kind of heating up there in the north, is it not?

DD: It is Jimmy and it’s been doing so for a number of years now. We had no military activity to speak of for many many years between Syria and Israel following the 1973 war. We basically have unofficial cease fire come into effect that there is a full state of war between Israel and Syria since 1948 but in recent years with the conflict growing in Syria and the internal situation so bad we have seen stepped up Israel activity but mainly not aimed at the Syrian government or Syrian forces but at rebel forces and Iranian forces working in Syria. In recent years has more directly targeted Syrian military bases on a couple of occasions. Of course Russia is Syria’s closest ally and they have obviously stepped up their involvement considerably.

But for them to say to Israel you can’t come into this airspace is a bit ridiculous Jimmy and you know, you’ve been there many times how small the area is. The airspace there is very small and the Israeli’s are not going to give up their right to defend their northern border and towns and cities from any hostel actions wherever it comes from. It does lay out the possibility that we’ll see Israeli and Russian forces directly engaged at some point.

The has happened before during the 1973 war but that’s the last time there’s been any sort of direct military action between the two sides. So, if that comes up now it could go anywhere Jimmy and be very bad of course.

JD: David Dolan with the report that the Israeli Prime Minister has rejected the Russian President’s order to not enter Syrian airspace.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The mention of Russia, Syria, and Israel in one sentence reveals the nearness to the Biblical scenario for the end times. Ezekiel 38:2 foretells Russia as a key player in the alignment of nations to attack the Jewish state of Israel.

Syria according to Daniel chapter 11 referred to there as the king of the north. Syria is the first nation to attack Israel for the purpose of destroying the Jewish state.

As I mentioned earlier the names of 3 nations in this context Russia, Syria, and Israel is evidence we’re living in the last days. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
