JD: Ken, you have written several articles over the last week and I think though provoking as well. One of them entitled Revolution in Iran now that says it all basically. Give us your ideas of what you think is going on and could there be a revolution and an overthrow of the Ayatollahs?
KT: Well Jimmy I’m sure that our listeners have been following this amazing string of protest in Iran that erupted on the 28th of December just before New Years Eve. It’s now in its second week and there’s no end in sight. The regime into Heron is tremendously worried about this because unlike the protest in 2009 these protests have erupted all over the country in more than 60 cities in smaller communities all across the country.
In 2009 it was pretty much centered into Heron and a couple
of large cities and had a visible leadership. These protest do not have a
visible leadership. I’ve been interacting with Iranians inside Iran and people
helping them from the outside. There is a structure there it’s not visible to
the outside. It’s not visible to the regime. They haven’t known who to target
and who to arrest and that spells a great deal of trouble for them actually.
Also, another difference between 2009 and today is that President
Trump is no Obama. And instead of sitting on the sidelines as Obama did during
the protest in 2009 President Trump has been out in front from the beginning he’s
been tweeting in favor in support of the protestors, his UN ambassador Nikki
Haley has held a press conference which is actually quite extraordinary where
she actually picked up the anti-regime slogans being chanted on the streets of
cities and communities across Iran.
JD: Ken Timmerman with the details as to how and why there could
be a revolution in Iran.
We report this information because it is setting the stage
for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
A nuclear powered Iran is a danger to the Jewish state of
Israel. But Saudi Arabia and the other Middle Eastern nations fear what the
Iranian Islamic Republic could mean to all of the Middle East. Today’s Iran is
the Gentile world power known as Persia in Biblical times. In fact, Iran is referred
to as Persia in Ezekiel 38:5. Iran is a member of the coalition of nations that
have aligned themselves to try and wipe out the Jewish state of Israel, that’s
the book of Ezekiel chapter 38 but also you must add to that Psalm 83:4 and
Daniel 11:40-45.
As we look at Iran and the possibility of a revolution in
that Islamic Republic you can see that these Bible prophecies will be
fulfilled.
