JD: Mahmoud Abbas who is the President of the Palestinian Authority has been making the statement that the Palestinian people date back some 5,000 years ago to the Canaanites and apart of all of that Middle Eastern area. In light of that he has made the statement this week that the Palestinian people are going to enter Jerusalem with millions of fighters. That’s a threat. He’s saying that’s what they are going to do.
DD: Well Jimmy as it was the strongest statement that we’ve had really since before the Peace Treaty was signed in 1993 from a Palestinian leader against Israel. He told the crowd that the Palestinians as you said are the descendants of the 5,000-year-old Canaanites. Then he went to say that if the Jews want to leave they can leave by themselves otherwise like you said there are over a million fighters ready to storm into Jerusalem and throw them out of there and out of the whole land.
He said, “they are foreign to this land, they have no right
to it no matter how many house how many settlements they declare that they plan
to build here and there. They shall be all destroyed Allah willing. They will
all go to the garbage bin of history.” Well we haven’t had such incendiary statements
like I've said for many many years from Palestinian leaders. Of course we remember
that the late Yasser Arafat often said that all of the Jews would be driven into
the Mediterranean Sea in the end the Palestinians would take over the whole
land. So incendiary statements; very dramatic days indeed.

wrong statements recently. The Palestinian people actually date back only 4,000
years ago to Esau, that’s Genesis 25, and not to the Canaanites. Abbas also
said that millions of Palestinians will enter the Temple Mount to kick the Jews
out of this sacred Jewish real estate; that’s incorrect as well. There will be
an alignment of Islamic nations who try to do that and they will fail. And then
at the time of the second coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ the Palestinians
will be destroyed as if they had never been, that’s Obadiah verse 18.
