Turkey and Iran are trying to wipe out the Kurds

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: Let’s talk about the Turkey-Syrian offensive as it’s going on even as we speak.

KT: Well it’s a pretty broad based offensive across the entire border about 400 miles of Northern Syria. All the way over to the Iraqi border in the east. They’re attacking Kurdish civilian areas, cities and towns. The reports we have so far Jimmy about 70,000 people have left their homes or on the roads as new refugees.

JD:  What about Iran’s President Rouhani urging Turkey to avoid any military action in Syria? It looks like they’re ignoring his suggestion.

KT: It’s kind of interesting to see that from Rouhani. Now I don’t hear that coming from the Supreme leader and lets not forget who calls the shots in Iran. It’s definitely not Rouhani. You do see that the regular army same day that Turkey went in and exercised in northern Iran near the Turkish border. Now you don’t call an exercise like that over night. So this is something that has clearly been in the works for some time. And the Iranians have other reasons for holding that exercise. They are not threatening Turkey. They are holding it at an area called Plurmea where in the past they have set up a joint military headquarters with Turkey to smash the Kurds.

So what I think is going on here is exactly the opposite of what Rouhani is saying. I think the Iranians are in fact working together with Turkey to put pressure on the Kurds both in Iran and in Syria. So this is the Iranian piece of it. They’re trying to put pressure on the Kurds and specifically they’re going to try and hit Kurds I believe in northern Iraq and some of those camps that I visited.

JD: Ken Timmerman with the details on how Turkey and Iran are partnering together to try to wipe out the Kurds.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

With the United States pull out of all American troops from Syria the Middle East nations are very much concerned about the United States commitment to the Middle East. Turkey sees an open door to wipe out Turkish President Erdogan’s main political rival the Kurds. Iran sees a partnership with Turkey to deal with the Iranian Kurdish problem as well.

Syria sees another force that could try to over throw Bashar Assad the President. And Russia sees a way to replace US influence in the Middle East for a greater Russian influence. All of these players are mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11. Then there is Israel as well the sworn enemy of the Islamic nations. Israel’s concern is the United States backing of Israel slipping away. This all setting the stage for the prophetic scenario that is found in God’s word.
