Jordan's King Abdullah says that his country is not a substitute homeland for Palestinians

Recently, Jordan's King Abdullah and Israeli PM Ehud Olmert met in Oman, Jordan, capital city of this Middle Eastern state, and discussed Olmert's realignment plan which would give the Palestinians a border that would access the Jordanian border, which is of great concern to King Abdullah.

In light of the large Palestinian population in Jordan, over 70% of the total population, King Abdullah is concerned about his balance of power, and the king made clear to PM Olmert that Jordan is not a substitute Palestinian state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The recent meeting between Jordan's King Abdullah and Israeli PM Ehud Olmert, in essence, was a meeting between two Middle Eastern leaders that is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. King Abdullah of Jordan and PM Olmert of Israel are both considered to be among the moderate Middle Eastern leaders and their countries are considered to be somewhat friendly, coexisting in a hotbed of conflict.

The demographics of Jordan, over 70% of the population being Palestinian and the fact that King Abdullah is a Hashemite, his family coming from Saudi Arabia, this large Palestinian population has to be factored into any arrangement made in the Middle East. Current policy by both nations will indeed impact future events in the region, especially in light of Bible prophecy.

The ancient Jewish prophets Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Malachi, and Obadiah all wrote of the coming conflict of the descendants of Jacob, the Jewish people, and Esau, the Palestinian people, known in the Middle East today as Jordan and the Jewish state of Israel. God sent Esau to live in what is now Southern Jordan, biblically known as Edom, and He did this almost 4,000 years ago, He sent him to a place called Petra, that's Genesis 36. Ezekiel 35 reveals the conflict between the descendants of Jacob, the Jewish people, and Esau, the Palestinians, that will take place near the Return of Jesus Christ, a deadly conflict in the future. Revelation 12:6 speaks of a place prepared by God to protect His people. That place is Petra and it's located in Southern Jordan.

A meeting between Jordanian King Abdullah and Israeli PM Ehud Olmert to discuss the Palestinian conflict is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
