Egyptian President Mubarak calls the UN impotent as protests in the Arab world against Israel increase

Egyptian President Mubarak says that the Security Council of the United Nations (UN) had revealed its impotence in its response to Israel's conflict with Hizbullah and he called for an immediate ceasefire. At the same, calling for an urgent international investigation into the Israeli attack on the South Lebanese village of Qana.

Mubarak said that the security Council had failed to deal rapidly and effectively with Israeli aggression and to fulfill its responsibility for international peace and security. At the same time, many of the Arab states are facing outrage and protests at home against Israel's actions, pushing their nations to take a tougher stand on the conflict.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Condemnation by the Arab world of the international political body of the UN is a precursor to a scenario found in Bible prophecy for the Last Days. Kofi Annan, the Secretary General of the UN, has come under fire from many of the Arab world leaders as the delay for a ceasefire between Israel and Hizbullah continues.

Meanwhile in the Arab street, Arab-Islamic nations are seeing more and more political protests against the aggression of Israel, as the protesters claim, and increasing support for Hizbullah and their fight against Israel. This scenario that I've described is a stage set for Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

Daniel and Ezekiel wrote of the alignment of nations that we see against Israel, that's Daniel 11 and Ezekiel 38. Joel wrote of a massive army, like never before on the earth, that will attack Israel, that's Joel 2:3. John the Revelator, in Revelation 13-18, wrote of a one world government led by a one world ruler, the Antichrist, which would be effective on the world scene.

Mubarak's statement that the United Nations was impotent does for the Antichrist to setup his international world government Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
