The Presidency of the EU will publish its news reports in Latin

With the Presidency of the European Union (EU) passing to mild mannered Finland for the next six months, Finland's Prime Minister (PM) pledged an active EU presidency.

The Finnish PM described his country's pragmatic approach in a speech given to the EU parliament and he reiterated that tangible results should be Europe's goal. Stretching back to ancient times, the Finnish EU presidency will publish all EU news in Latin, the language of the old Roman Empire.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The EU presidency publishing their latest news reports in Latin, the language of the old Roman Empire, is evidence of the connection between the EU and the Roman Empire as it relates to Bible prophecy. In the last year the EU faced its biggest setback when two nations did not approve the EU constitution for ratification.

Austrianates strides forward in the moving of the 25 EU member states towards another opportunity for ratifying the constitution. And now, Finland, who presently holds the EU presidency wants to be more than a caretaker presidency. They want to provide an atmosphere for the EU members to see how they can and must work together for the better good of all the members.

The present-day link between the EU and the old Roman Empire, the Latin language news reports to be published by Finland, are evidence of progress in the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel wrote of a revival of the Roman Empire in the Last Days when he referred to the ten horns of the awesome beast in Daniel 7:7 which actually was describing a revival of the Roman Empire as revealed in Daniel 7:23-25 and Revelation 17:3, 12. The EU may or may not be the fulfillment of these prophecies, but for sure it is the infrastructure for the revived Roman Empire.

Publishing European news in Latin, the language of the old Roman Empire, is evidence that Bible prophecy is coming closer to fulfillment.
