King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia avoids PA President Abbas at summit

In a state visit, the first in 25 years, to Jordan King Abdullah, the Saudi monarch met with Jordan's King Adbullah and was briefed on the four-way summit that took place at Sharmel-Shek in Egypt where they publicly stated support for the new Palestinian government that was put in place by the PA President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Saudi king avoided any meeting with Abbas which many pundents are saying was a deliberate snub of the PA president; and in reaction to Abbas' naming of a new government, a result of the uprising led by Hamas to take control of the Gaza Strip.

It was a very interesting development when the Saudi King Abdullah snubbed the PA President Mahmoud Abbas especially in light of the prophetic scenario for these two peoples that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The leaders of Saudi Arabia have a long time record of support for the armed struggle led by the terrorist element of the Palestinian people against what they call Israeli occupation. The Saudis sent millions of dollars to the families of suicide bombers who killed Israelis during the reign of Yasser Arafat. It must be remembered that Saudi Arabia is the homeland of the founder of Islam and the location of its two most sacred pieces of real estate, mecca and Medina. This deliberate snub of PA President Mahmoud Abbas by Saudi King Abdullah is indicative of the End Times scenario that will unfold in the Middle East according to the ancient Jewish prophets.

The oil rich nation of Saudi Arabia is a member-state of the Alignment of Nations that come against Israel in the Last Days, Psalm 83:6. They are known as the Ishmaelites. Islam is the lowest common denominator in the list of nations that form the End Times coalition of nations (Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11), and Saudi Arabia is the mother of Islam.

This deliberate snub of the PA president by Saudi King Abdullah is a precursor to the prophetic scenario that will be fulfilled in the Last Days.

Jewish immigration to Israel from North America is at its highest in 25 years

The Aliyah department of the Jewish Agency in Israel is reporting immigration to Israel by Jews from North America including the US and Canada as the highest it has been in 25 years from this region of the world, which is about a 10% increase over last year.

The agency reported they had registered new immigrants ranging in age from several months to elderly individuals in their 90's noting that 70% of the new immigrants were under 35 years of age and nearly 40% under 18.

The largest Jewish immigration to Israel from North America in some 25 years happening now in 2007 is right in line with End Time prophecy that the ancient Jewish prophets wrote about for the Last Days.

The Aliyah department of the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem keeps meticulous records of Jewish immigration to Israel from all regions of the world and they report that 2007 is the largest immigration from North America in 25 years, which is very significant. These Jewish Agency records indicate that over the last 100 years Jews from over 100 nations of the world have made their way to the land of their forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The word, "Aliyah" is the Hebrew word that means "go up to Jerusalem", but today it is applied to those who immigrate to Israel from around the world, which is what the ancient Jewish prophets said would happen in the End Times.

Ezekiel recorded what the Lord told him and he repeated the phrase, "I will" 18 times in Ezekiel 34 to drive home the point. The Lord told Ezekiel that he would find the Jews wherever they had been scattered and He would bring them back into their land, Ezekiel 34:11-31. In Ezekiel 36, the Lord promised to bring them into the land of their forefathers and to prosper them in the land. Ezekiel 36:22 says the Lord will do this, bring the Jews from around the world to the land of Israel, for His holy namesake and His promise to the Jewish people.

The highest Aliyah from North America in 25 years is indeed part of the process of Bible prophecy being fulfilled.

Tony Blair stepped down as British PM and has become the Middle East envoy for the Quartet

After a decade of service as PM of Great Britain, Tony Blair has stepped down and made ready for his duties as the new peace envoy in the Middle East representing the Quartet which includes: the US, the EU, the UN, and Russia, and the new Middle East envoy will setup an office in Jerusalem.

Tony Blair has traveled extensively in the Middle East and has already developed a relationship with all the major players in the Arab world as well as with Israel.

The new assignment for Tony Blair as Middle East peace envoy for the Quartet is a page out of the prophecy of the ancient Jewish prophet Daniel for the End Times.

Tony Blair served 10 years as the PM of Great Britain as one who believed that there must be peace and stability in the Middle East. Blair has seen up close what the Quartet tried to accomplish in their Middle East peace plan. Mr. Blair will have hands on responsibility for now trying to bring peace and stability to the Middle East.

This unfolding scenario is indeed a page out of the prophecy written by the ancient Jewish prophet Daniel. In Daniel 9:27 it calls for a well-known leader to make his way into the Middle East and strengthen the peace agreements already on the table between Israel and their Arab neighbors. The present peace agreements that Israel has with Egypt, the Palestinians and Jordan have never really been normalized. They need to be confirmed, which is exactly what Tony Blair hopes to do. In fact, that is what Daniel's world leader, the Antichrist will do when he comes to power coming out of the revived Roman Empire which is today's EU. Please understand me now, I am not saying that Tony Blair is the Antichrist of Daniel 9:27, but rather a prototype of that one to come.

It does seem that indeed the stage is set for Daniel's prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jesus Christ did not walk on water, but ice

Dr. Doron Nof, a Florida State University Professor of Oceanography, says that rare conditions could have conspired to create hard-to-see ice on the Sea of Galilee in Northern Israel that a person could actually have walked on back when Jesus is said to have walked on the water.

Professor Nof studied a small section of the cold fresh water surface of the Sea of Galilee near the town of a salty spring along the lake's western shore the floating ice on the lake.

A Florida State University Professor's explanation that Jesus actually was walking on a patch of ice in the Sea of Galilee and not performing a supernatural miracle, is evidence that the Return of Jesus Christ to earth is drawing very close. Professor Nof's research was done in the area, some 10,000 sq. ft. on the coast of the Sea of Galilee on the western side of the lake near the town of Tabgha.

The main problem with the professor's research is that he studied the wrong side of the lake and the section of the lake that supposedly Jesus Christ had walked on the water. Tabgha is the traditional site of the Feeding of the 5,000 and the act of walking on the water. However, the biblical account of this supernatural miracle says that it happened on the eastern side of the lake near Bethsaida; and that is found in John 6:1-21. The phrase, "went over the sea", used in the text is a nautical term; that's found in John 6:1, 17. This indicates that these events occurred on the eastern side of the lake, not on the western side.

This report is evidence of the soon Coming of Jesus Christ as related by Peter in II Peter 3 where he said when the time approaches, people will deny miracles performed by Jesus Christ; for example: the Creation, all in six days, and that the world-wide Flood ever took place; this is found in II Peter 3:1-7.

Jesus Christ performed His miracles while here on earth to confirm He was the Son of God in the flesh and His Second Coming, a fulfillment of Bible prophecy, will indeed be another miracle that will happen seemingly very soon.

European leaders agree on a treaty that will establish a superstate and a powerful president.

During a two day summit in Brussels, Belgium, European leaders agreed on a treaty that will replace their former constitution with an outline for the twenty-seven member states after some compromises and which was brought about after all members made some concessions.

This new treaty that goes into effect in 2009 will establish the United States of Europe and a position of permanent president for an organization of nations that will be economically, politically, and militarily very powerful.

The new European treaty will set in place a superstate and a powerful president that is in lock-step with Bible prophecy for the last days.

During the year long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the European Union, the member states, some twenty-seven states, were determined to come up with a solution to their failed constitution and they have done so with their agreement to the European Union treaty that will preserve many of the key features of the failed constitution.

The new treaty will bring to power a superstate that will be a force in our world economically, politically, and militarily. The treaty also calls for a permanent president of the European Union that will place a world leader on the world stage in a very powerful position.

Even as I report this new development, my mind is rushing to the prophetic scenario that can be found in God's Word that is almost word for word for the upcoming European Union.

Daniel, the ancient Jewish prophet wrote in his prophecy in Daniel 7 that there would be a revival of the old Roman Empire. That's Daniel 7:7-8 and also verses 23-24.

The "ten horns" of this passage are the Revived Roman Empire yet to come. And the "little horn" of Daniel's prophecy the anti-christ, the world leader yet to come to power. This Revived Roman Empire will be led by the anti-christ and he will be powerful politically, economically, and militarily.

The treaty for the European Union that brings about a superstate and a powerful president does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Less than 25% of Christians have Bible knowledge to place key events in order

According to the results of a new survey by the Bible Society in the UK, less than a quarter of Christians possess enough knowledge of the Bible to be able to place key events in Bible history in the order that they appear.

The Bible Society carried out a survey of regular church-goers which reveals that 78% of those people were unable to put a series of ten popular Bible stories in order: events like Noah's Ark, Solomon's building of the Temple, Jesus feeding the five thousand and other similar incidents.
The survey, a quick-fire quiz style, was designed to assess the assumption that Christians possess an in-depth knowledge of the Bible.

A lack of Bible knowledge, and in particular Bible prophecy, will hinder the understanding of the times in which we live and the urgency of the moment, related to Bible prophecy and the End Times. Christian leaders in the world today believe that the significance of God's Word, the Bible, is for living out the Christian faith in our world today.

The shocking fact is that 75% of regular church goers do not even have enough Bible knowledge to recognize the order of events unfolded in the Bible. And even a larger percentage of those same people do not understand the times in which we're living as unfolded by Bible prophecy, which is actually 30% of the Bible's content. Jesus said that He would send the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, to teach us things to come, in other words prophecy; that's found in John 16:13.

Through the Apostle Paul, our Lord told us to study the scriptures, II Timothy 2:15, so that we could discern the times in which we live today. Jesus also said through the Apostle John, who wrote the book of Revelation, that the scriptures found in Revelation 4-22 will reveal those things to happen yet in the future.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled and it behooves followers of Christ to understand the urgency of the moment by reading the Bible prophecy passages in His Word.

The presidents of China and Iraq meet to talk about oil

Iraqi President Talabani in meetings with his Chinese counterpart President Hu in Beijing focused on Iraq's vast oil resources with China hoping to resurrect a 700 million dollar deal to develop an Iraqi oil field that it signed with Iraq before Saddam Hussein was overthrown in 2003.

China has been looking to increase its ties with Middle Eastern countries to feed its massive fuel needs with nearly sixty percent of its oil imported from the Middle East.

The recent meeting between Iraqi President Talabani and China's President Hu which was focused on oil has an interesting significance in light of the Bible prophecy for these two nations.

Shortly after Iraqi President Talabani arrived in Beijing for a week long visit, the Chinese government announced it was forgiving the debt owed to China and pledged to help rebuild Iraq's economy. With only ten percent of Iraq's oil fields surveyed, Beijing will also be looking to position itself to assist with future oil exploration in Iraq. What is so significant about this partnership between China and Iraq, is that both nations are major players in the End Time drama to be played out in the near future.

In the book of Revelation, John wrote history in advance of the events of today by almost 2,000 years. John outlines the events of the Tribulation Period, seven years of judgment in Revelation 4:2-19:10. Revelation 16 reveals the last judgments on the earth before Jesus Christ comes back to setup His kingdom and bring true peace to the earth. The last two events will be China, the kings of the East, (Revelation 16:12) coming to Jerusalem for that final battle. The very next event will be the total destruction of Iraq, biblical Babylon as revealed in Revelation 16:17-20 and then Jesus Christ comes back to earth.

The meeting between the presidents of Iraq and China is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Scientific report: planet earth is going back to the age of the Dinosaur

According to some scientists, global warming over the coming century could mean a return to the temperatures last seen in the age of the dinosaur and which led to the extinction of up to half of all species on the earth at that time.

The British Association for the Advancement of Science at their annual meeting were told that the earth may already be on the breaking edge of a wave of mass extinctions as global average temperatures become higher than they have been in the last 10 million years.

According to a recently released scientific report, the earth is going back to the age of the dinosaur, a very interesting report in light of Bible prophecy.

As the world listens to statement after statement and watches film documentations on the subject of global warming, the most recent pronouncement indicates that our earth is facing climatic changes today that will take us back to the conditions prevalent of yesterday, and the yesteday that scientists are referring to is the period of time when dinosaurs roamed this earth. The campaign to prepare the world for the results of global warming has received another boost to get the word out and to everybody.

As a student of Bible prophecy and as a student of the entire Bible, I would suggest several observations as it relates to the End Times and this issue of global warming. I do not know, nor does anybody else really know the truth about global warming. I do know however, during the time of judgment in the future, the Tribulation Period, there will also be ecological judgment on the earth: grass and trees will be burned up, the oceans will turn to blood, the fish of the seas will be killed, and fresh water, rivers, and lakes will turn to blood also, that's Revelation 8:7-11 and 16:3-7. As it relates to the age of dinosaurs, according to scientists, 10 million years ago, that is impossible unless one is willfully ignorant which is how the Apostle Peter described people during the time of the near return of Jesus Christ back to the earth, and that's found in II Peter 3:3-7.

A supposed scientific report that says we're going back to the age of dinosaurs does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Vatican says Hitler and Stalin were possessed by the Devil

Father Gabriele Amorth President of the International Association of Exorcists and Pope Benedict's caster out of demons claims that Germany's Adolph Hitler and Russian leader Jo Stalin were possessed by the Devil and he added that he was convinced that the Nazis were all possessed.

The Vatican's chief exorcist said of course the Devil exists which is why, according to Amorth, we need to defend society from demons. Father Amorth in the past has spoken out against the Potter books claiming that reading the novels of the teen wizard would open children's minds to dabbling with the occult and black magic.

The Vatican's claim that Adolph Hitler and Jo Stalin were both possessed by the Devil is in fact confirmed by the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

History records that Adolph Hitler and Jo Stalin were responsible for millions of people being killed during WWII. There is documentation from secular sources that Adolph Hitler was very active in the occult and would consult with demons before making many of his dastardly decisions that resulted in the death of millions. The claim by the Vatican that Hitler and Stalin were both possessed by the Devil has an interesting connection to Bible prophecy for the Last Days.

The ancient Jewish prophet, Daniel wrote 2,500 years ago of two world leaders in the past that were possessed by the Devil as well, that's in Daniel 10. In Daniel 10:13, the prophet describes the Persian leader Haaman, spoken of in the Old Testament book of Esther, as being controlled by the Devil. Verse 20 of that same chapter in Daniel refers to the Greek leader Antiochus Epiphanes who desecrated the Jewish Temple in 168 BC as predicted by Daniel 11. II Corinthians 11:13-15 reveals that the Devil does have demons who he dispatches to control world leaders in the Last Days.

As the Last Days come more into focus, the Vatican claim is on target.

There is a call for outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair to become the first permanent president of the European Union

Nicolas Sarkozy, the new French president is calling for the European Union to consider naming the outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair as the new permanent president of the European Union at the upcoming European Union summit where the new treaty is to be ratified.

The new role of president of the European council, representing the European Union's twenty-seven member states, would be a permanent replacement for the six month rotating presidency of the European Union.

The powerful position of permanent president of the European Council, when named, will be the precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

The sensitive negotiations on a new European Union treaty, during this week's meeting of the European Union member states, includes the establishment of a president and foreign minister on a permanent basis by the year 2009 for the European Union.

The President would have few formal powers but that position would become the European Unions strategic leader and represent the bloc on the world stage on many issues.

Aids to President Sarkozy of France said the European Union member states want a politically strong Europe and a president who is credible.

Talk of a permanent president and the ratification of the European Union treaty has a close relationship to the end time scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Daniel 7 reveals that the "ten horns" mentioned in the prophecy is referring to kings, kingdoms or regional operations that form the European Union as the political, economic and governmental power in Europe and in fact, with great influence into the Middle East.

This body would be referred to in scripture as the "Revived Roman Empire", which will have indeed a political leader, the "little horn" of Daniel 7 or better known as the antichrist.

The European Union would indeed qualify as at least the infrastructure for the prophetic scenario found in Daniel's prophecy which leads to the "Revived Roman Empire". A permanent president leading the European Union does fit into Daniel's prophecy, Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

Scientists say global oil reserves could run out in 4 years

There is a group of scientists based in London that have challenged the major review of global oil reserves and they are warning that oil supplies will start to run out in only four years time, the report that governments and oil companies are not ready to admit according to the scientists.

Dr. Colin Campbell, the head of this delegation of scientists says that world consumption of oil will catch and then out strip the discovery of new reserves even as oil reserves are depleted affecting the world economy. A survey of the four countries with the biggest reported reserves Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, and Kuwait reveals major concerns especially since consumption is increasing by 2 to 3 million barrels a day each year.

The depletion of global oil reserves within the next four years may well speed up the fulfillment of the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Two-thirds of the world's oil reserves lie in the Middle East and increasing demand will have to be met with massive increases in supply from the region. Scientists now believe that within four years global oil reserves will begin to run out. This report if correct could have a major impact on the Middle East region and in particular the major oil producers in the region Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran. In reality, the sale of oil by these middle eastern nations has been the key factor in the influence of these nations who lead the war against the Jewish state in the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Psalm 83, Daniel 11, and Ezekiel 38 reveal the Middle Eastern nations that attack Israel in the Last Days. In the book Joel chapter 2 there is a description of the mighty militia that will go to Jerusalem to set up its world empire. Daniel 9:27 and 11:45 reveals that a world economic leader will come to power. Revelation 18 says that he will be headquartered in the midst of these oil rich nations, nations about to deplete their oil resources.

The time seems short until Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

An Israeli general says if Hamas wins the civil war, Gaza will become a formal terror state

General Yaakov Amidror, the former IDF intelligence officer says that Gaza infighting may lead to a formal terror state if Hamas wins the civil war that has erupted in the very densely populated Gaza Strip and will threaten all of Israel.

General Amidror says that the irresponsible pullout of the Gaza allowed Hamas to arm itself with mass amounts of explosives weapons and funds that flowed into the Gaza Strip with Iranian agents coming in to help Hamas get its army organized.

As the Civil War and the Gaza Strip intensifies between Hamas and Fatah the stage is being set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Since Hamas came to power in the Palestinian Authority with the Palestinian elections in January of 2006, he recognized terrorist organization Hamas has maneuvered itself into a position to gain complete control of the Palestinian government. A Hamas victory over the Fatah faction of the Palestinian political structure will allow Hamas to set up a terror state at Israel southern border. A win by Hamas in the civil war but the actors on the stage for the final drama as described in the Bible prophecy.

Malachi, an ancient Jewish prophet wrote 2400 years ago that the enemy of Israel the descendants of Esau would come to power and God called their borders the borders of wickedness, Malachi 1:1-4. Ezekiel, another ancient Jewish prophet wrote 2500 years ago that these Edomites, the Palestinian people of today that they would rise up to kill the Jews and to take their land, Ezekiel 35:5, 10. Obadiah revealed that the Edomites, today's Palestinians would be defeated and destroyed when the Messiah, Jesus Christ returns, Obadiah 14-18.

A Hamas victory in the civil war in the Gaza Strip over the Fatah faction of the Palestinian people does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Temple treasures looted by the Romans in 70 AD are now back in the Holy Land

According to a British archaeologist, Sean Kingsley a specialist on the Holy Land, the collection of sacred artifacts looted by the Romans from the Temple in Jerusalem and long suspected of being hidden in the vaults of the Vatican are actually in the Holy Land.

Kingsley claims to have discovered what became of the collection which is widely regarded as the greatest of biblical treasures and includes the implements used in Herod's Temple at the time of Jesus Christ. Kingsley believes that the Temple treasures remain a deadly political tool in the volatile Arab-Israeli conflict and that these treasures are in a hiding place deep in Hamas territory in Judea and Samaria.

The claim by British archaeologist Sean Kingsley that the Temple treasures are hidden deep in Hamas territory in Israel is very interesting in light of biblical prophecy.

Dr. Sean Kingsley's claim that the treasures from Herod's Temple from the time of Jesus Christ are today somewhere hidden deep in Hamas territory, if true could well rock the world's religions. Kingsley believes the treasure resonates fiercely across modern politics and remains a deadly tool in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict centered on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Tradition says that General Titus, leader of the Roman army who looted the Temple treasures in 70 AD took all the Temple implements to Rome and that these sacred items remain there 'til today. Kingsley claims that these Temple treasures traveled first to Carthage, then to Constantinople, before being returned to the Holy Land and are now hidden deep in Hamas territory.

Kingsley may or may not be right, but what we do know for sure is that these implements or a replica of them will be used in a Temple to be rebuilt by the Jewish people during the seven year Tribulation Period yet future in Jerusalem, that can be found in the book of Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4 and Revelation 11:1-2.

The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has replicated all the Temple implements and trained the priests to operate this coming Temple, a Temple ready to be rebuilt in Jerusalem.

Scientists call for "Evidence-Based" teaching of evolution in schools

A statement signed by 67 national science academies says evidence of the origins of life is being concealed, denied, or confused and the world's top scientists are calling for "Evidence-Based" teaching of evolution in schools.

These scientists say the key facts of evolution, which they claim is scientific evidence which has never been contradicted, also includes the fact that the earth is 4.5 billion years old and the onset of life was at least 2.5 billion years ago.

The world's top scientists believe that every classroom must teach "Evidence-Based" evolution to explain the origins of man, which is in reality a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy for the Last Days. There has been growing concern within the scientific community that children are not being taught basic facts on evolution and the nature of scientific inquiry.

The world's top scientists say in some countries the simple theory of evolution is denied in the teaching of children in schools. Now, these scientists want evidence based evolution taught in all schools.

I must remind you, it is indeed the theory of evolution and it never has been determined scientifically to be absolute. It is still a theory. This report is however, evidence that Jesus Christ is preparing to come back to the earth, seemingly in the near future. The Apostle Peter, in the content of his last book, II Peter 3:2-7, wrote that in the Last Days supposedly intelligent people will be willingly ignorant, or actually dumb on purpose, ignorant of the truth of the biblical account of Creation and the origins of all of life, all that is in our universe.

The denial by the world's top scientists that the God of the Bible created everything in six 24-hour days around 6,000 years ago is evidence that Jesus Christ is coming soon.

The German Chancellor says the EU needs a constitution that makes reference to Christianity and God

Following her recent audience with Pope Benedict, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel says the European Union needs a constitution that makes reference to Christianity and God.

Chancellor Merkel believes a redrafted treaty should include clear links to Europe's Christian heritage. Mrs. Merkel visited the Pope to discuss issues in European and international politics ahead of the Pope's visit to Germany.

An EU treaty, which is the constitution for the Union with references to its Christian heritage, is in line with the prophetic scenario in Bible prophecy for the Last Days.

The late Pope John Paul worked diligently to have the formers of the European constitution include references to Europe's Christian heritage and the role it played in forming the union of European states known as the EU. As the Eu considers how to tackle the deadlock after the treaty rejection by French and Dutch voters last year, Spain, Italy, Poland, and now Germany are strong supporters of a reference to God in a new EU charter. The German Chancellor says that Europe needs a European identity in the form of a constitutional treaty and it should be connected to Christianity and God since Christianity has forged Europe in a decisive way. That is what will happen to bring together the European states and their formation of the EU. There will be a religious connection according to Bible prophecy.

John the Apostle prewrote history of the coming world-wide religion of the End Times as recorded in Revelation 17. This religion will be a mother-son cult that calls for co-equal worship of the Mother and the Son as was the case of the roots of this international religious system in Babylon 4,500 years ago.

According to a major Israeli newspaper, a recent flurry of secret messages from Israel to Syria seem to indicate that Israel is willing to give up the Golan Heights in return for a peace agreement with Syria.

The report says PM Ehud Olmert sent messages with German and Turkish diplomats to Syrian President Bashur Assad indicating that Israel is ready to hold direct peace negotiations with Syria and give up the Golan Heights, a piece of real estate held by Israel since the Six-Day War of 1967.

No Israeli PM in the last 40 years has told Syria that his government would be willing to give back the Golan Heights for a peace agreement. Military strategists say that Israel on the Golan Heights is essential for the security of the northern half of the state of Israel. IDF intelligence is saying that Syrian military forces are in training exercises at the Syrian-Israeli border near the Golan Heights, which has caused concern of an attack to take back the Golan Heights by force. Now, Israeli PM Ehud Olmert, it is reported, has notified Syria that his government is ready to give back the Golan Heights for a peace agreement.

One would have to ignore the IDF intelligence and Bible prophecy to even consider such a giveaway. Bible prophecy, that can be found in Daniel 11:40-45, reveals that the king of the North, modern-day Syria, is one of the players in a coalition of nations that will align themselves and attack Israel in the Last Days. In fact, Daniel 11:40 indicates that Syria will make the first move against Israel and the other nations will follow in suite and attack the Jewish state.

The Israeli victory in the Six-Day War of 1967 celebrated on its 40th anniversary is a military victory that is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Many historians who have written about the 1967 Six-Day War have referred to the military genius of the IDF leaders in that war that resulted in Israel defeating three nations: Egypt, Jordan, and Syria, and doing that in only six days. This textbook military operation has been studied by military leaders over the last 40 years. After the Six-Day War, the IDF was perceived by the Arab and Muslim world to be invincible. Now, as it was in the lead up to the 1967 Six-Day War, the Arab-Muslim nations are once again calling into question the existence of a Jewish state in the Middle East.

Some of these Muslim nations and all of the Islamic terrorist groups are calling for the total destruction of the Jewish state. Many of the ancient Jewish prophets like Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Joel, and Zechariah all have pre-written history of the scenario that is unfolding today in the Middle East.

Israel's victory in the Six-Day War in 1967 antagonized the Arab and Muslim nations of today so that they are now preparing for another attack on Israel that has already been recorded in Bible prophecy.

The British Ministry of Defense Development Concepts and Doctrines Center has drawn up a report that envisions a world 30 years from now with information computer chips in the brain, electromagnetic pulse weapons, the countries in the Middle East increasing by 132%, and flash mobs, groups of terrorists rapidly mobilized.

The report discusses issues such as the growing economic importance of India and China, the militarization of space, and the use of the internet for news reporting.

The recently released British military report forecasting our world 30 years from now has information similar to the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Many nations of the world have research teams within their military who are endeavoring to look in a future strategic context down the road 20 to 30 years. The British Ministry of Defense has put together such a team that lays out a world only envisioned in science fiction up until now. This 90 page probability-based report includes: computer chips in the brain, the explicit use of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons and devices delivered by unmanned vehicles, and the massive increase in the population of the Middle East. This scenario sounds like the world described in Bible prophecy for the End Times.

Prophecy, found in Joel 2:2-4 along with Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11:40-44, reveals vast populations in the Middle East providing the militant militias for the Last Days. Revelation 13:16-17 speaks of some kind of a mark, maybe a chip, in the hand or the forehead of individuals who would follow the Antichrist. Revelation also speaks of military attacks from outer space, that's Revelation 9.

This world, 30 years down the road envisioned by the British military, may well be much closer, that is according to Bible prophecy.

A Muslim official in Jerusalem admits there were two previous Jewish temples on the Temple Mount

In contradiction to most of his colleagues, a former senior official of the Islamic Trust on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the Islamic custodians on the temple Mount, says he has come to believe that the first and second Jewish temples existed and stood at the current location of the al Aqsa Mosque.

Supposedly, Islamic custodians passed down stories for centuries from generation to generation, indicating that the mosque was built at the site of the former Jewish temples. This former al Aqsa official says to admit the Jewish temples existed does not forfeit Islamic rights to the Temple Mount. He said that the present mosque completes the divine religion of Islam, the third and last religion.

The statement by an Islamic official in Jerusalem that Jewish temples did once stand on the Temple Mount is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. The statements from a former senior leader of the Islamic Trust in Jerusalem, the custodians of the Temple Mount, that he believes there have been two Jewish temples on the Temple Mount is inline with all historic and archaeological evidence available today.

Though this statement is in contradiction to what the Islamic world declares, that there has never been a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount much less two previous temples, the belief of this former custodian of the holy site is based upon Islamic tradition passed down from generation to generation.

Not only has there been two previous Jewish temples on the Temple Mount in the past, there will be two additional Jewish temples on the Temple Mount in the future. Daniel 9:27 reveals a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem during the seven year Tribulation Period, a time of great judgment in the future. By the way, this is also confirmed by Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1-2.

Zechariah, another ancient Jewish prophet, wrote in chapter 1 verse 16 and chapter 6 verses 12 and 13 that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will come back to Jerusalem and build His Temple where He will rule and reign from during the 1000 year Kingdom yet to come. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A former German FM is warning that Europe could become a playground for upcoming superpowers

Joschka Fischer, the former Foreign Minister (FM) of Germany and now a Professor at Princeton University, is warning that the rest of the world will not wait for Europe while it bickers over institutional reform and external policy issues, which is putting Europe at risk of becoming the playground for upcoming superpowers.

Fischer says in a very sober view of the EU's position in the world as it dusts itself off from 50th birthday celebrations, that the world is looking to China and India as the next superpowers to be, not Europe. Fischer believes that a weakened Europe will make it the playground of these other superpowers in the 21st century which means goodnight Europe.

The warning that Europe is fading and could become the playground for the world's superpowers is in contradiction of the prophetic scenario found in Bible prophecy for the Europeans.

This year, 2007, is the year of celebration in Europe as the EU marks its 50th birthday with the anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome. German Chancellor Merkel, leader of the EU during this period of time, is exerting effort to having the EU constitution ratified and has called for an EU military force to be put in place. However, with all of this activity, the former German FM Joschka Fischer warns that if the Europeans don't quit haggling over non-essential issues, they will be passed by as a superpower and become the playground for the world's superpowers. The prophetic scenario for Europe in the Last Days reveals that, that will not be the case. Europe will become a superpower headed up by the world's dictator.

Daniel, an ancient Jewish prophet, wrote 2,500 years ago that the old Roman Empire would be revived and become the major power in the world, that's Daniel 7:8-9, 23-24. This same passage of prophetic truth foretells of the Antichrist, the leader of this superpower, who is referred to in this passage of Scripture as the 'little horn'.

Professor Fischer's warning may well motivate the EU; however, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An Arab member of the Israeli Knesset has called for the liberation of Jerusalem by the Muslim world

At the Jerusalem First Conference, recently held in Ramallah in the area of Judea and Samaria, the chairman of the United Arab List - Israeli Knesset member Ibrahim Sarsour - called on all Arabs and Muslims to focus their energies on the future of Jerusalem and act in concert to become a torrent on the road to liberating Jerusalem.

Sarsour emphasized the religious importance of Jerusalem for the Muslims and said that Israel's plans for the Temple Mount and around the city must be resisted. The Arab Knesset member recalled how the Muslims liberated Jerusalem during the Crusades and said it could be done today, that the liberation of Jerusalem is not an impossible mission and it must be done.

The call for the Muslim world to liberate Jerusalem by an Arab member of the Israeli Knesset is actually a call for the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The status of Jerusalem for a negotiated peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians has always been pushed to the end of any agenda for peace talks between the two parties. Every Israeli PM from the very beginning of the modern-day state of Israel has said that Jerusalem is the undivided, eternal capital of the Jewish people. The Palestinian leadership as well has called for Jerusalem, if not all of it at least a portion of the holy city, to be the capital any future Palestinian state. With the call by an Arab member of the Israeli Knesset for the Muslim world to rise to the occasion and liberate the city of Jerusalem from the Israeli occupation, it has ratcheted up the discussion several notches.

This scenario is exactly what the ancient Jewish prophets wrote down 2,500 years ago would happen at the time of the end. Zechariah said that there would be those who would become arrogantly secure in their control of the city of Jerusalem, that's Zechariah 1:15. Joel, another Jewish prophet, wrote that a mighty Muslim militia would come to Jerusalem to liberate the holy city and take it away from the Jewish people, that's Joel 2:2-3.

The call for Muslims to liberate Jerusalem is indeed a call for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
