The chaos in Cairo is a conflict within the Muslim world

Listen to Today's Program Play

As the Egyptian military forces move to put down the supporters of ousted President Morsi hundreds of people have been killed in the process. World leaders are calling for the end of bloodshed in Egypt which does not seem possible in the near future.

The Muslim Brotherhood has vowed to keep fighting until their leader, Mohamed Morsi is reinstated as president of Egypt. This prospect seems very unlikely in light of the chaos in Egypt today with the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood at the forefront.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The conflict in the Muslim world to set the agenda for world domination is actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Since the beginning of the Arab Spring several years ago, there has been a fight for the leadership of Islam and the agenda for the Muslim control of the Middle East and in fact the entire world. Islamic eschatology calls for the Mahdi, the Muslim messiah to come to power and go to Jerusalem to setup a worldwide caliphate, a world dominion or kingdom. Mohamed Morsi while he was campaigning for presidency of Egypt even stated that Cairo would not be his political capital city, but Jerusalem would be the seat of his authority. With that agenda in mind, Mohamed Morsi was actually following a scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The ancient Jewish prophet Joel stated that the largest military militia ever formed on the face of the earth would come together and go to Jerusalem to setup their worldwide dominion, Joel 2:1-3. Additional prophets, Daniel and Ezekiel also foretold that the Muslim world would come to power in the last days and move to take control of the entire world as they formed a coalition of Muslim and Islamic nations to destroy the Jewish state of Israel and indeed make the city of Jerusalem the capital of their worldwide dominion, Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11:40-43 and the focus on Jerusalem, Zechariah 12:2.

The conflict between moderate Muslims today and the radical Islamists is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
