Israeli Defense Minister, Shaul Mofaz, at a press conference in Berlin, Germany said that Israel is ready to use military action to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear WMD if the UN Security Council is incapable of action against what Israel and the West believe is a covert Iranian nuclear weapons program.
Mofaz, who was actually born in Iran, said that the state of Israel has the right to give all the security that is needed to the people of Israel, "We must defend ourselves", he said. Mofaz said sweeping inspection powers must be given to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to smoke out any secret nuclear arms related activities in Iran; a deep and large inspection within all the nuclear locations in Iran must take place.

Iran will attack Israel with enough force to destroy the Jewish state and Israel will not be able to defend itself, that is according to Bible prophecy. A prolonged back-and-forth has been going on between the UN International Atomic Energy Agency and Iran on Iran's nuclear development program and now to the extent that the IAEA is at the point of forcing the issue to go before the UN Security Council.
Iran's delaying tactics has allowed Iran to enrich enough Uranium to possibly prepare a nuclear weapon in the near future, and Israel is ready to stop Iran if no one else does. Bible prophecy does say that Iran will be one of the coalition of nations that will align itself with other Middle Eastern and Islamic states to try to destroy the Jewish state; that's found in Ezekiel 38:2-6.
That same prophetic passage says that Israel will be incapable of defending itself, but that the Lord will intercede to destroy Israel's enemies, that's found in Ezekiel 38:18-23.
Israel will be defended not by its powerful military, but by the Lord according to Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.
