A team of international scientists including a group from the California Institute of Technology says that the three major earthquakes in Indonesia recently have increased the likelihood of a major disaster with the potential for a giant quake in the near future.
With Indonesia's sumatra right on the equator, this island holds the deadliest stretch of ocean anyplace in the world, which was the location, by the way, that produced the tsunami several years ago that caused the deaths of over three hundred thousand people.
The team of earthquake specialists who traveled to the area say the potential giant quake could well be a rare magnitude nine quake and with the plates in the earth so tightly sprung, the quake will happen sooner rather than later.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
With the recent earthquake activity and the potential for the giant quake in Indonesia, the world is witnessing what Jesus said would happen in the last days.
Across the world this last year there have many earthquakes in a number of different location. Most recently the three powerful quakes in Indonesia motivated a team of earthquake specialists to travel to the nation to try and determine the potential for additional quake activity.
The team of scientists have concluded that there is a potential for what they term a giant quake to happen in that part of the world and they say it could be sooner rather than later.
On the subject of earthquakes, Jesus said that a major indicator of the nearness of His return to the earth, the Second Coming, would be earthquake activity in different places, Matthew 24:7.
Jesus also gave the Apostle John the prophetic message of the Book of Revelation where he spoke about additional earthquake activity, including the worst earthquake that will ever take place on the earth, just before He comes back to the earth, Revelation 16:18.
The warning from a team of earthquake specialists of a giant quake in Indonesia is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled, and possibly in the very near future.

Thousands of Islamists have called for a caliphate, a worldwide Islamic kingdom
Some eighty thousand Islamist recently came together from around the world, meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia to press for the re-establishment of a caliphate. a world-wide kingdom across the Moslem world.
The event was organized by the liberation party which was founded in Jerusalem in the 1950's by a Palestinian religious scholar and experts believe the group ideologically is in concert with the Jihadist, Islamic holy war groups, and they are using peaceful means that are purely tactical.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The call by thousands of Islamists for a world-wide Islamic kingdom today is a precursor for confrontation with the Messiah, Jesus Christ, in a soon-coming tomorrow, that is according to Bible prophecy.
In the last two years Iranian President Ahmadinejad has repeatedly said that we are now living in the apocalyptic age, a time near to the coming of the Islamic Mahdi, the Islamic Messiah.
Now, the Moslem in the street is joining with this Islamic leader to call for revival of the caliphate, a world-wide Islamic kingdom that would be under Sharia Law, the Islamic Law and answer to Allah, the Islamic deity.
In a recent conference held in Jakarta, Indonesia, the largest Moslem gathering in the world of this type, some eighty thousand Moslems and their leaders, called for the caliphate to be re-established.
This scenario that I have just described will bring about a universal confrontation in the future as we draw close to the time when Jesus Christ will come to earth to establish His kingdom, a physical kingdom in our world that will be headquartered in the Middle East from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
The ancient Jewish prophets, especially Daniel and Ezekiel, speak about the Lord's kingdom that will be established and will be in existence forever, that's Daniel 7:13-14. Ezekiel wrote of the temple that will be located in Jerusalem that Jesus will build and as Messiah it will be His seat of authority and He will establish His earthly kingdom, His universal kingdom, from that spot, that's Ezekiel 40-46 with special attention on Ezekiel 43:1-7.

The international Red Cross is reporting the AIDS epidemic is now a global disaster
According to the international Red Cross, the AIDS epidemic in some countries is so severe that it could be classified a disaster. It is a crisis that fits the UN definition of a disaster, an event beyond the scope of any single society to cope with.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the IFRC, is focusing on what it says is one of the most long term and complex problems facing the world today, the HIV-AIDS epidemic. in need. The Red Cross says billions of dollars are being spent on the fight against AIDS but their report warns that much of the money has not been targeted properly and is not reaching those most in need.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The AIDS epidemic which has reached the level described as a global disaster is a precursor to the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.
The most recent report from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies that the HIV/AIDS epidemic has reached the level to be classified as a global disaster, brings to the world's attention the severity of this world health crisis. With 25 million deaths, 33 million people living with HIV/AIDS virus, and 7 thousand new infections every day, this by any standard is an epidemic that is a global disaster. Both the Red Cross and Red Crescent have warned and continue to warn world leaders that this health crisis must be dealt with sooner rather than later, but no one seems to be listening
A worldwide epidemic spreading so quickly, some 7,000 new infections of the AIDS virus everyday, seems to be what Jesus was talking about when He gave His Olivet Discourse in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago. Jesus said in the Last Days there would be pestilence, the epidemic spread of disease across the world, Matthew 24:7. In Revelation 6, it describes the first six of 21 judgments to come upon the Earth during the Tribulation Period which takes place after the Rapture of the Church. Revelation 6:7-8 foretell of 1/4 of the Earth's population dying and pandemic disease is one of the ways this prophecy will be fulfilled.
The Red Cross report is indeed evidence Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The construction of the Temple is under way in Jerusalem
A grandiose museum featuring an elaborate massive replica of the Jewish Temple is currently being erected opposite the Western Wall in Jerusalem, a construction project which is valued at nearly 20 million dollars.
The museum will feature a journey through Jewish history from the days of Abraham to the present, emphasizing the message and significance of the Jewish people's presence in the land of Israel. The museum's curator said that this will be an audio/visual experience incorporating smells so that the act of entering the Temple will be done with awe of God.

The construction project to build a replica of the Jewish Temple just opposite the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
A yeshiva, a Jewish seminary, located in Jerusalem has the funding, 20 million dollars, to replicate the Jewish Temple just off the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and the project is now underway. This Temple replica will give visitors the opportunity to experience what the previous Jewish Temples would have looked like while at the same time be a reminder of the fact that one day there will be a Temple standing on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Visitors to the museum will also learn the history of the Jewish people in the land of Israel, the land which God gave His chosen people, and this will be done with a presentation using the latest in high-tech.
The building of a Temple replica just opposite where the real Temple will one day be built does make vivid the reality of a coming Temple for the Jews in Jerusalem. Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4 and Revelation 11:1 speak of a Temple that will be built during the terrible Tribulation Period, a seven year period of judgment on the Earth in the future. By the way, all the preparations have been made to build this Temple. Ezekiel 40-46 reveals the Messiah's Temple that will be built in Jerusalem, a Temple that Jesus will build when He returns to the Earth.

Jordan's King Abdullah says failure of the peace process is the largest threat to the Middle East
Jordan's King Abdullah on a recent trip to Washington, told the Washington Post that he was disappointed with President Bush's last visit to the Middle East and that the failure of the peace process is the major threat to the entire Middle East.
The Jordanian King said he thought the peace process had lost credibility in peoples' minds and the king cannot see a viable possibility of creating a two-state solution beyond 2008 or 2009. He believes this is really the last chance. A warning he reiterated to Israeli President Shimon Peres in their recent meeting in Petra. When asked if he thought Iran was currently the largest threat to the Middle East, the Jordanian leader said the lack of peace between Israel and the Palestinians is the current major threat.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Jordanian King Abdullah has warned the world of the major threat to peace in the Middle East and it is inline with Bible prophecy for the End Times.
On a recent trip to Washington, D.C., the Jordanian leader King Abdullah warned that failure in the peace process between the Israelis and the Palestinians is the major threat to the Middle East region. The king believes that though Iran and its nuclear threat are of great concern for stability and security in the region, if there is no resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in 2008 or the latest 2009, the region will explode. King Abdullah believes this is the last chance for peace in the Middle East which is setting the stage for an End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.
When the Antichrist, the coming world ruler, comes on the scene, he will confirm a peace between Israel and its Arab enemies, Daniel 9:27. The long hoped for peace will calm things down, only temporarily. Bible prophecy reveals that the Israeli Palestinian conflict will heat up and only be resolved when Jesus Christ comes back to Earth, Ezekiel 35, Malachi 1 and Obadiah.
King Abdullah's warning actually gives us evidence of how close we are to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

French President Sarkozy calls for the division of Jerusalem and for Israel to deport Jews
French President Nicholas Sarkozy on a state visit to Israel during a speech to the Israeli Knesset, said France will always be Israel's friend and then promptly called for the division of Jerusalem and for the Israeli government to deport all Jews living in Judea and Samaria, which he called the West Bank.
Sarkozy said there must be a Palestinian state for there to be peace in the Middle East and the Palestinian people must have a capital for their state; therefore, Jerusalem must be divided into two capitals. President Sarkozy did say that as far as France was concerned, a nuclear Iran is totally unacceptable and France will always stand by Israel when her security or existence is threatened.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
A call by the French President Nicholas Sarkozy to deport Jews from Judea and Samaria and divide the city of Jerusalem is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
On a state visit to Israel, French President Sarkozy made statements that contradict his commitment to the Jewish state that France would always be its friend and stand by Israel to protect her from enemies that would threaten the very existence of the Jewish state. When the French president called for the deportation of all Jews in the settlements in Judea and Samaria, he forgot these Jewish settlements are Israel's first line of defense against a people who want to wipe Israel off the map. Calling for the division of Jerusalem, the French president placed Israel's security at great risk as well as going against the prophetic Word of God which said Jerusalem is the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish people, Psalm 132:13-14.
The call by Sarkozy, a key power in the EU, to deport all Jews from Judea and Samaria sets the stage for a second Jewish state to be established in Judea, Ezekiel 37:15-23. Political leaders like French President Sarkozy will be used in the Last Days to set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled, Revelation 17:17.
The call by President Sarcozy to expel Jews from their God-given homeland does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

US officials are reporting that Israel carried out a military exercise focused on Iran's nuclear facilities
It is being reported by the New York Times that Israel has carried out a major military exercise early in June that US officials say appeared to be a rehearsal for a potential bombing attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
More than 100 Israeli F-16 and F-15 fighters participated in the maneuvers which were carried out over the Eastern Mediterranean and over Greece. The exercise also included Israeli helicopters that would be used for any needed rescue operation. US officials said the Israeli military exercise was to send a clear message to the US and other countries that Israel was prepared to act militarily if diplomatic efforts to stop Iran from producing a nuclear WMD were not successful.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The New York Times report of Israeli military exercises focused on stopping Iran from producing a nuclear WMD is tangible evidence that Bible prophecy is getting closer to being fulfilled.
Though there are many factions in the body politic of Israel and just as many opinions on all the issues facing the leaders of Israel, there is almost 100 percent agreement that Iran is the greatest threat to the Jewish state. The Israeli intelligence community reports that Iran could well have a nuclear WMD by the first of next year and it does not look like any of the diplomatic means have been successful in the resolution of the Iranian nuclear threat. All Israeli leaders who have been or are eager to be the prime minister of Israel make it clear that the Jewish state will not wait for Iran to attack as they have threatened and if need be, they will take on Iran without help from other nations.
Bible prophecy, through the ancient Jewish prophets, revealed a scenario that the world is watching unfold on a daily basis. Ezekiel wrote that Iran, the modern day name for Persia used in Ezekiel 38:5, would be a major player in the alignment of nations to attack Israel in the Last Days. Psalm 83 reveals that the alignment of nations including Iran will call for Israel's destruction and her name to be forgotten.
Israeli military exercises are indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

New intelligence report reveals Moslem Antisemitism is a strategic threat to Israel
According to a recent intelligence report, Moslem Antisemitism is growing in scope and extremism to the point that it has become a credible, strategic threat to Israel and Israeli policy makers are concerned with the potential danger this may pose to the Jewish state.
The report indicates that by educating generations of Moslems with a deep animus toward Israel and Jews, this Antisemitism actively propagated by many Arab and Islamic states in the Middle East holds back the peace process and normalization efforts between Israel and Moslem countries. The report says this is prejudice that is evil, it is ideological incitement by states and organizations with the practical means of translating it into evil action.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
A growing Antisemitism among the Moslem states in the Middle East is not only a strategic threat to Israel, but a page out of Bible prophecy for the Last Days.
The recent intelligence assessment that was released by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center reported that Moslem Antisemitism is growing in scope and extremism and Israeli officials are on alert due to the strategic threat this phenomenon poses to the Jewish state. The basis for this growing Antisemitism among Moslems, according to the report, is coming from strictly Islamic reasoning. It's an Anti-Jewish hatred developed through new interpretation of Islamic history and the Scriptures.
Indeed, a study of Biblical history of two men, Isaac and Ishmael, will give us better understanding of this strategic threat. Isaac had a son named Jacob who had twelve sons, the twelve Tribes of Israel, which are the Jewish people of today. Ishmael also had twelve sons, but did not father the Arab world, instead Ishmael went to Arabia and fathered one nation, Genesis 17:20. He fathered the modern-day state of Arabia which is the birthplace for the Islamic faith.
A hatred that goes back 4,000 years is the reason for Islamic Antisemitism, which Bible prophecy said would indeed come to pass.

Pope Benedict says only the Roman Catholic Church was established by Jesus Christ
In a document issued by the Vatican's congregation for the doctrine of the faith, it contained Pope Benedict's assertion that the Roman Catholic Church is the one church that Jesus Christ established on earth.
The Pope's statement also said that other Christian denominations cannot be called "churches" in the proper sense of the word, a comment that has prompted condemnation and confusion from Protestants and the Orthodox. The pronouncement from the Vatican said that Pope Benedict was trying to clarify teachings from the second Vatican council of 1962-1965 which the current Pope attended and has been very concerned over its liberal interpretations.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Pope Benedict's statement that the Catholic Church is the church that Christ established on earth has a prophetic significance that is played out during the End Times according to Bible prophecy.
Pope Benedict, the very conservative leader of the world-wide Catholic Church, has made another very controversial statement. Last summer, the Pope angered the Muslim world when he referred to Islam as a dangerous religion. This summer, the Pope's new assertion that the Catholic Church is the church that Jesus Christ establish here on earth has brought about condemnation and confusion. What is interesting is that the Pope's assertion parallels the prophecy found in the book of Revelation about a one-world church in the future.
John the Apostle, who wrote Revelation, wrote in Revelation 17 of a one-world church coming to power in the first half of the Tribulation Period and being led by the Antichrist. That church described in Revelation 17 will be headquartered in Rome, Italy and will be the only church of that time in history. John, in Revelation 17, describes in detail that coming false church during the Tribulation Period. Hear me please now, I did not say that the Catholic Church is that false church of Revelation 17.

Hamas confirms a cease-fire with Israel to go into effect in three stages
An Hamas spokesman has confirmed a commitment to an Egyptian mediated cease-fire deal with Israel and it will be implemented in three stages as soon as Israel will agree to the first stage which is to open the crossing points from Egypt into Gaza with the second stage allowing the removal of restrictions on the goods allowed into Gaza.
Israeli officials are cautiously optimistic about the cease-fire which would bring calm to the region, however the Chief of Staff of the IDF, General Ashkenazi says he is concerned, as is Israeli intelligence, that the cease-fire will be short-lived and fragile. Ashkenazi said the IDF will respect the cease-fire but is also getting ready for a large-scale military operation in the Gaza Strip should the cease-fire be broken.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The confirmation by Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organization, of a cease-fire with Israel is only a precursor to a large scale conflict in the future according to Bible prophecy.
For a number of months, the Egyptian mediators have been working with both the Israelis and the Palestinian militants to try and broker a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip. According to sources in Hamas, the cease-fire has been agreed to and will be implemented in three stages which should bring calm to the region. Though Israeli officials are cautiously optimistic, the IDF is continuing its preparation for a military operation in the Gaza Strip.
According to Bible prophecy which sheds light on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Israel will be involved in defending themselves from the violence of the Palestinians all the way to the appearance of the Messiah, Jesus Christ on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. Ezekiel 35 reveals that the Palestinians will kill the Jews and take their land in the End Times. Malachi 1 states that the Palestinians will return to setup their own borders and the Lord will have indignation against them. Obadiah states in the last five verses of his prophecy that the conflict will be resolved only when the Messiah returns to Jerusalem.
Cease-fire or not, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Scientists say that the global oil reserves could run out within 4 years
There is a group of scientists based in London that have challenged the major review of global oil reserves and they are warning that oil supplies will start to run out in only four years time, a report that governments and oil companies are not ready to admit according to the scientists.
Dr. Colin Campbell, the head of this delegation of scientists says that world consumption of oil will catch and then out strip the discovery of new reserves even as oil reserves are depleted affecting the world economy.
A survey of the four countries with the biggest reported reserves Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, and Kuwait reveals major concerns especially since consumption is increasing by 2 to 3 million barrels a day, each year.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The depletion of global oil reserves within the next four years may well speed up the fulfillment of the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.
Two-thirds of the world's oil reserves lie in the Middle East and increasing demand will have to be met with massive increases in supply from the region. Scientists now believe that within four years global oil reserves will begin to run out.
This report if correct could have a major impact on the Middle East region and in particular the major oil producers in the region Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran. In reality, the sale of oil by these middle eastern nations has been the key factor in the influence of these nations who lead the war against the Jewish state in the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.
Psalm 83, Daniel 11, and Ezekiel 38 reveal the Middle Eastern nations that attack Israel in the Last Days. In the book of Joel chapter 2 there is a description of the mighty militia that will go to Jerusalem to set up its world empire.
Daniel 9:27 and 11:45 reveals that a world economic leader will come to power. Revelation 18 says that he will be headquartered in the midst of these oil rich nations, nations about to deplete their oil resources.
The time seems short until Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

Libya's Colonel Gaddafi: Barack Obama fears an Israeli agent may try to assassinate him
Libya's leader, Colonel Gaddafi, has strongly criticized US Presidential candidate Barack Obama for saying Jerusalem should remain the undivided capital of Israel and that Obama was either ignorant of the Middle East conflict or lying to boost his campaign.
Gaddafi, referring to Senator Obama as his Kenyan brother, suggested that Mr. Obama's comments on Jerusalem may have been formed by a fear of assassination by Israeli agents. Gaddafi rejects the Israeli belief that Jerusalem is its eternal, undivided capital and sides with the Palestinians who claim that at least a portion of Jerusalem must be the capital for a future Palestinian state.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The radical rhetoric of the Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi that Israeli agents might assassinate US Presidential candidate Barack Obama is the reason Mr. Obama endorsed an undivided Jerusalem is blatant evidence that Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.
The US Presidential candidate, Senator Barack Obama, while addressing APAC, the US lobbying organization for Israel, did actually state his endorsement for an undivided Jerusalem. This foreign policy statement by Mr. Obama angered the Arab and Moslem world and especially the Palestinian leaders who say there can be no peace in the Middle East without a Palestinian state and Jerusalem as its capital.
The ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah said 2,500 years ago that in the Last Days the city of Jerusalem would be a center of controversy, Zechariah 12:2-3. Zechariah says that Jerusalem will be like a cup of trembling, a phrase meaning that the contents of the cup are intoxicating. Zechariah 12:3 says Jerusalem will be a burdensome stone, referring to a heavy weight, one too heavy to carry. Barack Obama is experiencing the weight of Jerusalem as he receives the response from the Arab-Moslem world over his endorsement for an undivided Jerusalem.
Indeed Bible prophecy is being and will be fulfilled.

According to two internationally known astronomers our years on earth are numbered until this earth is totally destroyed
According to a forecast with new calculations by a pair of world renown astronomers; one from Mexico and the other from England, man has only so many years on this earth before it is dragged from it's orbit to a rapid vaporous death.
This report is the latest installment in a long running debate about the ultimate fate of the earth and the universe surrounding the earth.
This report coming with word that the sun is getting hotter and hotter and it will continue to do so until it transforms itself into a red giant.
These two astronomers, Dr Peter Schroeder and Dr Robert Smith say that if nature is left to its own devices, the earth will be destroyed in about 7 1/2 billion years; that's right "b", 7 1/2 billion years from now.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Two astronomers who are predicting the demise of the earth and the sun, are pretty much on target but their timing is a bit off, that is according to Bible prophecy.
This report about the demise of the earth indicates that the sun is and will continue to get hotter and hotter until it drags the earth to a rapid, vaporous death.
This is not the first such report from the field of science, it is an ongoing debate among scientists as to how and when the earth and much of our galaxy will be destroyed.
This report on the ultimate fate of the earth that we are living on today pretty much is on target but as I said, the timing is a bit off, by billions of years.
Bible prophecy says that the earth will be burned up, II Peter 3:10. Revelation 8 & 16 speak of the earth's destruction as the sun gets hotter and hotter.
The Apostle John wrote in Revelation 21:1-2 that there will be a new earth and new heavens in the future. This scenario is also foretold by the ancient Jewish prophet, Isaiah, found in Isaiah 65:17 and 66:22.
These prophecies will indeed be fulfilled; however, not in 7 1/2 billion years, but surely in the near future.

An Islamic terrorist leader says the Israeli government is the weakest in the country's history
In what seems to be a response to the Israeli Security Cabinet's decision to hold off on a military operation in the Gaza Strip, an Islamic terrorist leader, the spokesman for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, says the current Israeli government is the weakest in the country's history.
Mashir al Mashri said the Israelis are unable to deal with the Palestinians and the rockets and they know they cannot launch a wide-scale military operation in Gaza, because if they do, the Gaza Strip will become a graveyard for Israeli soldiers. Meanwhile, Egypt attempts to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, even as the Hamas rockets continue to fall across Israel, which is a part of the Palestinian armed struggle against the Jewish state.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Israel's perceived weakness by Islamic terrorist groups will set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
In the summer of 2006, the Iranian terrorist group Hezbollah stood up to the once considered invincible Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and the Moslem would announced they had put the mighty IDF on the run. Israel could be defeated. That perception in the Arab and Moslem world has been enhanced by the indecision of the Israeli government under the leadership of PM Olmert to go into the Gaza Strip and deal with the relentless rocket attacks on Israeli communities surrounding it.
Daniel, Ezekiel and the Psalmist, all Jewish prophets, record the pre-written history of this region and the Jewish state. There will be a coalition of Moslem nations, Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38 and Paslm 83, that will move to destroy the Jewish state in the Last Days. Malachi, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Obadiah reveal that the Palestinians will lead the way, which indeed is the case today.
The Moslem perception that Israel is weak could be what triggers this massive attack on Israel as foretold by the ancient Jewish prophets and it could happen very soon.

An Israeli official says the Arabic language is a threat to the existence of Israel
An Israeli member of the Knesset, Limor Livnat, says that in these times when there are radical groups of Israeli Arabs trying to turn the state of Israel into a bi-national state, it is most urgent to put into the law of Israel the unique status of Hebrew, the language of the Bible.
An Arab member of the Israeli Knesset fired back that Arabic has been and is today the language of the land of Israel and no law can change that however he did admit that all Arab Israelis are obliged to learn Hebrew with the majority of Arabs speaking the language fluently. In reality, the present so-called equality between the two languages, Hebrew and Arabic, is not there and Hebrew takes dominance over Arabic in Israel.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The conflict over the equality of two languages used in Israel, Hebrew and Arabic, is evidence that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled.
In a move that has outraged Arabic speaking people in Israel, a former Minister of Education and present member of the Knesset, Limor Livnat, is pushing a new bill in the Knesset to regulate Israel's official use of Arabic alongside the Hebrew language; however, this debate makes very clear that there is evidence of Bible prophecy being fulfilled. For 2,000 years, the language of Hebrew was a dead language, not used in commerce, education or even daily conversation.
Two ancient Jewish prophets, Jeremiah and Zephaniah, foretold of a day when Hebrew would once again be spoken by the Jewish people when they return to the land of their forefathers, the land of Israel. Jeremiah 31:23 states that the Lord would return the language of Hebrew to His people once He gathered them from around the world and brought them back into their land. Zephaniah 3:9 says the Lord would give the Jews a pure language, Hebrew, the language of the Bible and He would give it to the Jews, the people of the Bible, in the land of Israel, the land of the Bible.
Even though there is a debate over the official language of Israel, Hebrew has indeed been revived in the Last Days as Bible prophecy said it would be.

Jews in Jerusalem and around the world stay up all night studying the Bible as they celebrate the giving of the Ten Commandments
Today is a Jewish feast day Shavuot - or the feast of Pentecost, also known as the feast of weeks and the beginning of the harvest in the farm fields of Israel. A day that has traditionally become the day that Jews also celebrate the giving of the Torah - the Ten Commandments that was given to Moses at Mt Sinai.
This Jewish feast fay - the fourth of the spring feast - will be celebrated only one day in Israel but two days in the Jewish communities around the world. A celebration that includes studying the Bible all night and an early pilgrimage to the Temple Mount area in Jerusalem.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The feast of Pentecost - Shavuot - is being celebrated by Jews on the wrong day on the Jewish calendar; however, that does give us evidence of how Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
Let me clarify my statement that the Jews are celebrating the feast of Pentecost on the wrong day. According to Leviticus 23:15-22, the feast of Pentecost is to take place on the day after the Sabbath, that's Leviticus 23:6, which thus means that Pentecost should be on Sunday, the day after Saturday - the Jewish Sabbath.
In fact the Jews do not start counting the seven Sabbaths leading up to the Day of Pentecost on the right day which should be the feast of Firstfruits the third of the Jewish spring feast days. The Jews tell me that the reason that they do not celebrate Firstfruits - this third Jewish feast is because there is no Temple.
I often wonder if that fact that Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead on Firstfruits almost two thousand years ago makes any difference. Jesus was crucified on the feast of Passover, He was buried on Unleavened Bread, and resurrected on Firstfruits, that's John 20:1.
Jesus Christ did fulfill all of the spring Jewish feast days and will also fulfill the three fall feast days. He will return to earth on the feast of Trumpets, entering the Holy of Holies in the Temple on the Day of Atonement and beginning His rule and reign on the feast of Tabernacles.
The systematic fulfillment of Bible prophecy has taken place in the past and will do so in the future.

The King of Saudi Arabia held a Moslem conference aimed at making peace within Islam
Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah put together a three-day Moslem conference with over five-hundred Moslem leaders from some fifty countries gathering in Mecca, Islam's holiest site, for the purpose of making peace within Islam.
The summit, attended by both Shiite and Sunni Moslems, discussed such issues as nuclear proliferation in the Middle East, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the rebuilding of Iraq, but many saw the conference as a bid to achieve geopolitical security at a time when oil prices are skyrocketing. This Moslem only conference is a precursor to the summit that will be a trilateral interfaith summit including Christians and Jews proposed by King Abdullah who believes he must reach a consensus within Islam before his ultimate summit.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Saudi Arabia's King Abdulla believes a trilateral interfaith summit can bring stability to the geopolitical world, however Bible prophecy reveals that is not going to happen
Having over five-hundred delegates from some fifty countries from both sides of the Moslem religious arena, the Shiites and the Sunnis, was some accomplishment. King Abdullahs' dream to have Moslems sit down with Christians and Jews at an interfaith summit with a hoped for outcome of geopolitical stability is not going to happen in the long run.
Bible prophecy reveals that true born-again Bible believing Christians will depart this world at the Rapture before the Middle East explodes, I Thessalonians 4 and I Corinthians 15. The ancient Jewish prophets foretold of the terrible time of Jacob's Trouble, persecution of the Jews, as the Messiah will use all these troubles for the Jewish people to bring them to himself, Jeremiah 30 and Micah 7. In fact, two other Jewish prophets, Joel and Ezekiel predict that the Moslem world will try to destroy the Jewish people, that's Joel 2, and the Lord will intercede and wipeout the Moslem world, Ezekiel 39.
No interfaith summit will bring geopolitical stability and security to the Middle East, only the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will accomplish that.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad says Jesus Christ may soon come back to Earth
The Iranian President Ahmadinejad has repeated his prediction that Israel will soon disappear as the Moslem world would rise up and uproot the satanic powers of the US and Israel and that the countdown is on to erase these satanic powers from the geopolitical scene.
The Iranian president believes that when the Mahdi and his companion, Jesus Christ return to the Earth, the Mahdi will setup a worldwide caliphate, a Moslem kingdom, to be ruled over by the Moslem god, Allah.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Iranian President Ahmadinejad's statement that the Moslem messiah, the Mahdi, and his companion, Jesus Christ will soon return to the Earth is a very interesting statement and has great prophetic significance according to Bible prophecy.
The radical rhetoric of Iranian President Ahmadinejad continues to grab the world headlines and what seems to be outrageous claims, has an element of truth woven into its fabric.
Bible prophecy presents an eschatology that predicts the return of Jesus Christ back to the Earth but not as the companion of the Mahdi, the Moslem messiah. The Islamic world will be a major player in the Last Days according to several ancient Jewish prophets. The word, "Islam", is not used in Joel's prediction of a mighty militia to attack Israel, Joel 2:3-4, but the only way that militia could be formed is with the participation of the Islamic world. All the nations listed in Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38 and Psalm 83 are of the Islamic faith today, nations that will attack the Jewish state early in the seven year Tribulation Period. However, Ezekiel 39:1-6 states that these Islamic states will be destroyed when they attack Israel. Thus, the Mahdi, the Moslem messiah, will have no effect on the return of Jesus Christ to the Earth.
Ahmadinejad's prediction of the soon coming of Jesus Christ is correct, but not for the same reasons that he believes.

EU members of parliament want to be a major player on the world stage
At the annual meeting of the EU members of parliament involved in foreign affairs and security, the Polish member of parliament, Head of Foreign Affairs Committee, Jack Wolski, said that the EU foreign policy is moving from one era to another even as the new Lisbon Treaty will kick in next year.
The EU is seeking to bolster its role in foreign policy and security policy which would include the development of its own army to help enforce the EU foreign policy decisions. Mr. Wolski said that if the EU is to be a global player, the European Parliament must be ready to give advice and consent to the new permanent president of the EU called for by the Lisbon Treaty that will direct European policy in the future.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The decision by members of the European Parliament to bolster the EU's foreign policy and security efforts under the Lisbon Treaty is a precursor to Bible prophecy being fulfilled.
With the signing of the Lisbon Treaty in December of 2007, the decision by the 27 member states of the Eu put in motion the establishment of a permanent president for the EU, one who will be a major world leader and who will direct the EU's foreign policy into the future.
This report is like reading from the pages of Bible prophecy as it pertains to Europe, the world stage and the End Times. Daniel 2 and 7 call for a political apparatus to be in place in the Last Days that has many similarities to the old Roman Empire, its borders, its common currency, its parliament and its military might. The ten toes of Daniel 2:42-44 and the ten horns of Daniel 7:7, 24 are both prophecies of the revived Roman Empire which the EU today certainly seems to be at least the infrastructure for the future revived Roman Empire.
These recent moves by the European Parliament do indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The UN reports worldwide food crisis has pushed over 100 million into hunger
UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon told a UN-sponsored summit on the present worldwide food crisis held in Rome that over 100 million people around the world have been pushed into hunger, and the secretary general has urged nations to seize an historic opportunity to revitalize agriculture as a way to tackle the food crisis.
The UN chief reminded the attendees to the summit that today, food costs have reached a 30 year high in real terms which has caused riots in several countries. The UN warned the industrialized countries that unless they increased yields, eliminated barriers and moved food to where it is needed most, a global catastrophe could result.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ said there would be a worldwide food crisis just prior to His return to the Earth and present conditions indicate the stage is set for His words to be fulfilled.
The news media is increasing its coverage of a major worldwide food crisis as indicated by the rising cost of food, the decreasing supply of food stuffs for the hungry and the riots breaking out across the world over the lack of food. The UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon warned the world that something must be done and soon, before there is a global food crisis.
This food crisis facing our world today was predicted 2,000 years ago by Jesus Christ in His prophetic message that He gave on the Mount of Olives just prior to His death, resurrection and return to Heaven. In fact, when asked about signs of His return to Earth, Jesus Christ told His disciples there would be widespread famine, starvation and hunger, Matthew 24:7. In Revelation 6:5-6, the Apostle John revealed one of the first judgments in the seven year Tribulation Period which will be famine, hunger and starvation around the world.
Once again, current events, a worldwide food crisis today is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled in a future tomorrow.
The UN chief reminded the attendees to the summit that today, food costs have reached a 30 year high in real terms which has caused riots in several countries. The UN warned the industrialized countries that unless they increased yields, eliminated barriers and moved food to where it is needed most, a global catastrophe could result.

An Islamic leader in Israel denies the Jewish temples ever existed in Jerusalem
The al Aqsa Mosque, known as the Temple Mount to the Jewish people, was never the site of a Jewish Temple according to the head of the Islamic movement, Sheikh Raad Salah who said that the claims of the Jews are a big lie and they have no right to even one speck of dirt on the location.
The sheikh said he believes that Moslems are at a critical time in history, that al Aqsa is in danger and Jerusalem is in danger and the Moslem world must save al Aqsa, free Jerusalem and end the Israeli occupation. Sheikh Salah believes that Jerusalem is not only houses, it is faith, it is history, it is a present, a future, an eternal right that the Moslems will not relinquish.
Jimmy DeYoung's Prophetic Prospective on the News
An Islamic leader that says there was never a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and then says that piece of real estate actually belongs to the Moslems is playing a role that was foretold in Bible prophecy.
It sounds like an echo chamber here in Jerusalem as one Islamic leader after another makes the statement that there was never a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount, a fact disputed by both Biblical and secular history. Islamic leaders claim that there is no archaeological evidence of a previous Jewish presence on the Temple Mount. With total disregard for Biblical history, these Islamic leaders make claims that can be easily disproved.
The Bible reveals that King Solomon built the first Jewish Temple on Mount Moriah, the Temple Mount, almost 3,000 years ago, II Chronicles 3:1. There is the Biblical account of the building and the dedicatory service of the second Jewish Temple built in Jerusalem around 2,500 years ago, Ezra 6. Jesus told the ancient prophet Zechariah that He would return to Jerusalem to build His Temple on the Temple Mount, Zechariah 1:16 and Zechariah 6:12. However before that, conflict and controversy would surround the Temple Mount, Zechariah 12:2.
An Islamic leader claiming that there has never been a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
