The three Jewish holy days in the Fall are always times when the Jews from around the world flow to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in obedience to ancient laws that require all Jews to make a pilgrimage to Judaism's holiest site.
The Fall feast, Feast of Tabernacles, is what the Bible calls a pilgrim feast, one of three such feasts God gave the Jewish people and then told them that they must travel to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to be obedient to His law.
Because the Islamic Trust has custodial control of the Temple Mount, the Moslems have restricted the religious Jews who seek entrance to the Temple Mount from carrying any religious articles onto the mount or even praying while on this sacred site.

Limited access to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem for the Jewish people during their high holy days by the Moslem world will only increase the tensions surrounding this sacred site to the point that will result in Bible prophecy being fulfilled.
Evident during the Fall Jewish feast days has been the restrictions put in place by the Islamic Trust for the access Jewish worshipers wish to have at this holy time of year to the holy mountain of God, the Temple Mount. This control of Judaism's most sacred holy site, the Temple Mount, is an offense not only to the Jewish people, but to the Lord Jesus Christ as well.
In a preincarnate appearance to the prophet Zechariah 2,500 years ago, Jesus told the prophet He was displeased with the arrogant control of the Temple Mount by the enemies of the true God, Zechariah 1:15. In verse 14 of the Zechariah passage, Jesus, the Angel of the Lord, a preincarnate appearance of Jesus Christ, said He was jealous for the Temple Mount, in fact the Hebrew flavor of the word "jealous" seems to indicate that Jesus Christ is aggressively possessive for this sacred spot.
Jesus concludes His message to Zechariah in verse 16 by saying that one day He would come back to Jerusalem to build His Temple on this controversial site, the Temple Mount, a location of conflict in the future.

US soldiers have been accused of damaging the ancient Biblical site of Babylon
According to reports from Iraqi officials, the United States military did major damage to the Biblical site of Babylon including the area of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon which was converted into Camp Alpha the site of a multinational military operation. Babylon, one of the wonders of the ancient world, was damaged when the United States soldiers and their contractors caused major damage to the Ishtar Gate and the Processional Way by digging, cutting, and leveling the areas to meet military standards.
The United States Defense Department has agreed to pay $800,000 to help restore the Babylon site, a gesture that Iraqi officials say will help them repair the Biblical site to become a major tourist attraction for Iraq.

The Knesset, Israel's legislative body, has in recent days focused on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem
The annual day of mourning for the destruction of the two Jewish Temples that once stood on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem focuses all Jews on the Temple Mount, but has also recently been the subject of discussions by Israeli Knesset members as they met to talk about the Temple, it's role in Jewish life and Israel's approach to the Temple Mount.
An expert on the subject, Dr. Mordechai Keidar, discussed the political implications of Israel's stance on the Temple Mount and said the struggle for Jerusalem is not territorial, it is theological and he downplayed the Palestinian claim for the Temple Mount since Jerusalem is not mentioned even once in the Koran.
The Moslem view of Judaism is the root of the PA's refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish nation and they firmly reject all Jewish claim to the Temple Mount while at the same time they reject that the Temple Mount is Judaism's most holy site.

The Lord made a covenant with the second Jewish king, King David, that one day He would bring all of the Jewish people to this spot and give them the land forever, II Samuel 7:10. On the Temple Mount one day there will be built a Temple where the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will rule and reign forever, Zechariah 6:13. In fact, Jesus will build that Temple, Zechariah 6:12.

There is a Jewish organization that plans to reclaim land in Jordan that God gave to the Jewish people 3,500 years ago
The Israel Land Fund, a group of dedicated Jews who have been restoring Jewish properties in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria are now looking East into modern day Jordan with plans to reclaim historically Jewish properties in Jordan as well.
Many Jews purchased land in what is now Jordan during the British mandate when such land was seen primarily as part of the greater land of Israel which was confiscated by Jordan's rulers after Jordan declared independence as an Arab-Moslem country in 1946.
The Jewish group now faces great difficulty in purchasing this formerly Jewish land since Jordanian law views the sell of land to Jews or Israelis as a capitol offense and punishable by death.

A high ranking Islamic cleric tells thousands of Moslem children on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem that Jews will never build a temple on that site
Recently, as many as ten thousand Moslem children were on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to demonstrate the next generation of Moslems that will defend and continue the safekeeping of the Temple Mount, the Al Aqsa Mosque, as the Moslem world refers to this piece of real estate sacred to both Jews and Moslems.
The Mufti, Sheik Sabri, told the thousands of children swearing by Allah that the Jews will never return to take the Temple Mount and build their Temple there which is the Jewish dream, and the Mufti said that dream will never be fulfilled.

US Defense Secretary Robert Gates says Iran is the greatest threat to global security
US Defense Secretary Robert Gates believes that Iran's nuclear program is the greatest current threat to global security because there does not seem to be any good options where the rest of the world can see a scenario that would keep the threat from becoming a reality. Gates said that the international community's inability to affect Iran's apparent determination to seek a nuclear weapon of mass destruction sets up the possibility of a nuclear arms race in the Middle East as very real.

A group of over fifty heads of state have called for a New World Order
At Sharm El-Sheikh on the Red Sea coast in Egypt, the heads of state from over fifty developing nations in the world have called for a 'new world' order to tackle fallout from the global economic meltdown and to prevent a repeat of such a crisis.
The leaders of nations like Cuba, Pakistan, Iran, the 58 member states of the African Union including the host country, Egypt, and all 118 member states of the non-align movement developing nations in this world say a new monetary and economic world order and the restructuring of the world financial system must be in place to take into consideration the needs of the developing countries.

On the Jewish calendar, the world is in the first day of the seventh month in the year 5770, the Jewish new year which also marks the sixth day of creation week - the creation of man and woman, Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden as recorded in the Bible in Genesis 1. An advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu says Israel must have a trememdously powerful weapon to ward off a nuclear attack
Israel's national security adviser, Uzi Arad, says that Israel must have tremendously powerful weapons to ward off a nuclear attack or destroy an enemy that dares to launch an atomic strike against the Jewish state. Arad's comments appeared to allude to what is widely believed to be Israel's own nuclear arsenal and a standing Israeli policy of mutually assured destruction, a warning to other countries that could bring about their own devastation if they launch an attack.

Israel's population reaches almost 7 1/2 million in its brief 61 year history
According to the annual pre-Rosh Hashana Jewish new year report released by the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, Israel's population numbers 7,465,500 with the Jewish population around 5.6 million and the Arab population at 1.5 million. President Shimon Peres, who received the report, said that the data is a product of a very important work - a report that finds Israel's population has been growing at a steady annual rate of 1.8% since 2003.

The French President Sarkozy says an Israeli attack on Iran would be a catastophe
In a recent gathering of world leaders, French President Sarkozy made the dramatic statement that an unilateral attack on Iran by Israel would be a catastrophe and that not only would Israel and Iran be damaged, such an attack would be harmful for the entire Middle East and even Europe. Sarkozy's statement comes at a time when both the United States and Israel believe that Iran could have a nuclear bomb within the year according to US and Israeli intelligence, however, both nations believe that will not be the case at least right now.

The United States stops to mark the 8th anniversary of the infamous terrorist attack on America
Remembrance services held in the United States in New York City, Washington DC, and a field in Pennsylvania marked the 8th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, and the crash of one of the hijacked aircraft in the fields in Pennsylvania as the world also stops to remember the ugly head of terrorism. President Obama joined Secretary of Defense Robert Gates at the Pentagon and he spoke of the day that reminds us of the sacrifices of thousands of Americans not just at the Pentagon but in Pennsylvania and most obviously in New York City.

Oil drilling companies in Israel believe there could be a major source of oil at the Dead Sea
An oil drilling consortium which includes companies who found billions of dollars in natural gas off the Israeli coast are making ready to look for what they refer to as black gold in an area along the Dead Sea. Investors hope to find a major source of oil and this is based on seismic surveys in the Dead Sea area which is already a source of potassium and potash which have made the Dead Sea Works one of the world's largest exporters of the materials used for making fertilizer.
The Dead Sea, known in the Bible as the Salt Sea, is a body of water that has the densest concentration of salt and other materials in the world and is found at the lowest point on the Earth where fish and plant life do not exist in the highly salty water.

Pope Benedict calls for a stronger UN to tackle major global problems
Pope Benedict in an encyclical letter, the highest form of Papal teaching, called for a stronger UN to tackle the major global problems, mainly the economic crisis, the wars and rumors of wars and the social injustice that is taking place across the world.
Benedict said the blind pursuit of profit and economic mismanagement had wreaked havoc on the global economy and there must be a worldwide financial structure put in place to resolve this complex problem.

The UN wants a new global currency to replace the dollar
The UN has proposed the biggest overhaul of the world's monetary system since WWII by calling for the US dollar to be replaced with a global currency because according to a UN report, the system of currencies and capitol rules which binds the world economy is not working properly.
The UN conference on trade and development said the US dollar was largely responsible for the global financial and economic crisis and that the present system under which the dollar acts as the world's reserve currency should be subject to a wholesale reconsideration.

A new survey reveals that less than 10 percent of all born again Christians look at the world with a Biblical perspective
George Barna, a pollster with an independent marketing research company, found in a recent survey that only 4% of the overall population of America and 9% of born-again Christians have a biblical world view, suggesting that many of the nation's moral and spiritual challenges are directly attributable to this fact.
For the purposes of the research, a biblical world view was defined as believing that absolute moral truth exists, that such truth is defined by the Bible, and that the Bible is accurate in all of its teachings.

A biblical world view based upon understanding Bible prophecy is essential for an understanding of the times we live in today.
Let's look at the provision in scripture for a biblical world view. All scripture is God breathed. That means it's inspired and is profitable for doctrine, for correction, and instruction in righteousness, that's II Timothy 3:16. God gave the scriptures to the Jew to preserve and communicate to mankind, Romans 3:1-2. And thus, we have His written Word for us today. Our blessings and understanding comes from God's provision of His heart, His mind, His thoughts in written form, the Bible.
Now, let's look at the priority for studying a biblical world view. The Apostle Paul wrote that we must study the Word of God, a workman that need not be ashamed, relying on God's Word for all of life's questions. We must rightly divide the Word of truth, the Bible, to ascertain its true meaning. These two principles, study and rightly dividing the Word of God, are instruction for the End Times and they come from Paul's exhortation to young Timothy found in II Timothy 2:15.
Finally, let's look at the prophetic scenario of a biblical world view. A study of Bible prophecy reveals the scenario for the Last Days with a seven year period of judgment in our world followed by the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, to establish His Kingdom here on earth. However, preceding that seven years of judgment, those who are true born again Christians will be taken out of this world to be with Jesus Christ, that's the Rapture.
Allowing the Bible to form our world view prepares us for these future events and gives us evidence as to how close they may be.

Ultra-orthodox Jews are expanding the population of the West Bank by large numbers
The Jewish settler population in Judea and Samaria, the West Bank, is growing twice as fast as the rest of the population in other areas in Israel and the Ultra-Orthodox community is responsible for the major portion of the annual growth in these disputed territories.
In the areas where the Ultra-Orthodox move in to establish their young families, the annual growth rate is five to six times more than Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv's growth respectively and twice as much as the growth of many other Jewish settlements.
The Ultra-Orthodox rabbis sanctioned living in these settlements assuming that these territories would be annexed to Israel sometime in the near future.

The expanding population of Ultra-Orthodox Jews in Judea and Samaria is in essence a page out of Bible prophecy for these religious Jews and the land of their forefathers.
Since the end of the Six Day War in June of 1967, Jews both religious and secular have been moving into the area of Judea and Samaria, the West Bank, building their homes and raising their families. These disputed territories have increased in population over the years to nearly 500,000 people in two hundred Jewish settlements.
Now, the Israeli government is reporting that the fastest growth of population in any area of Israel is this area referred to as the West Bank, but known Biblically as Judea and Samaria.
As I mentioned, this report is a page out of the prophetic passages in God's Word. The Ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote 2,500 years ago that in the Last Days God would give the land of the forefathers of the Jewish people to the Jews of today, Ezekiel 36.
Ezekiel the prophet was actually told to preach to the land that would bring forth man and animal and multiply them on the land, Ezekiel 36:11. Ezekiel 36:6-22 reveals what God would do with the land for the Jews and in verse 22 tells us that would be done for His holy namesake.

Israeli archaeologists discover a passageway that may have been used by Abraham almost 4000 years ago
A Jerusalem walkway from the time of the Jewish patriarch Abraham protected by a wall of rock has been discovered near the City of David archaeological site by a team from Haifa University and the Israel Antiquities Authority who stated that this wall is the most massive ever discovered in the City of David. The City of David is the original site of the city of Jerusalem which was at one time a Jebusite stronghold and also the site where the Jewish patriarch Abraham met with the King and High Priest of Jerusalem 4000 years ago - the one known as Melchizidek.
Ronny Reich, the lead archaeologist on this project, said a fortification of such a massive scale indicates that Jerusalem became a city-state on its own that was able to deploy and gather the resources to build such a massive wall.

The newest discovery of a walkway that was fortified by a massive wall may indicate how the Jewish patriarch Abraham met with the priest-king of Jerusalem Melchizidek as recorded in Genesis 14:17-24. There is much speculation as to who Melchizidek was but most scholars believe he was a pre-incarnate appearance of Jesus Christ. I believe Melchizidek is a prototype of the ministry of Jesus Christ in the last days when He returns to the Earth as the King of Kings and the High Priest as well (Zechariah 6:13).
This historic reference to Abraham in the City of David also speaks of the Abrahamic Covenant that the Lord made with the Jewish patriarch which states that there will be a Jewish nation in the land that God had given to them in the Middle East and that they will live in that land forever (Genesis 12).

President Obama praised Islam at a White House dinner that celebrated the Islamic holy month of Ramadan
President Obama, at a White House dinner attended by Islamic leaders, cabinet members, diplomats and members of US Congress, said that the contributions of Muslims in the US were too long to catalog because Muslims are so interwoven into the fabric of our communities and our country.
This White House celebration hosted by President Obama is a continuation of the president's efforts since taking office to repair US relations with the Muslim world and his declaration that America is not and never will be at war with Islam.

For the last nine years, there has been the traditional dinner to celebrate the Muslim holy month of Ramadan at the White House and it has been hosted by the then serving president of the US. Both of these presidents have claimed to be Christians; however, they have eagerly endorsed a Muslim holy month that is in honor of the giving of the Islamic holy book, the Koran, to the prophet Mohamed.
A study of the Koran will reveal that Islam claims their holy book is the last and final word from god, the Islamic god, Allah. The Koran negates the Jewish Bible, the Old Testament, and the Christian addition, the New Testament. The Koran foretells of a world-wide kingdom, a caliphate, that is different from the kingdom that the Jewish God promised to the Jewish people through their Jewish King David in the Davidic Covenant, II Samuel 7.
For the Christian, the Koran says their god, Allah, never had a son, which is in the face of Christian doctrine which says Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Messiah, the Savior of the world. God's Word, the Bible, states that anyone who says Jesus Christ is not come in the flesh and is of the true God, the God of the Holy Bible, is the spirit of Antichrist, Satanic, I John 4:2-3.

Poland marks the 70th anniversary of the Nazi invasion and the start of WWII
European leaders and Russia's PM Putin were among the foreign leaders who participated in Poland's commemoration of the outbreak of WWII as they gathered in the historic Polish port city of Gdansk, which was annexed by Germany on September 2, 1939, the day after Hitler's Nazis invaded Poland.
Poland was invaded by Germany on September 1, 1939 and by the Soviet Union some sixteen days later which resulted in more than 6 1/2 million Polish people dying during WWII including some 3 million of its Jewish population.
The Nazis chose to make Poland the site of the largest killing fields in Europe and ultimately the largest Jewish graveyard in the world.
