JD: There's a very interesting verse over in Revelation 17:17 where it talks about the Lord putting into the hearts, in minds of political leaders to make political decisions that will set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. In other words the verse ends with saying so that the will of God may be accomplished. Presidents are those types of people. FDR made so many decisions that stopped the Jews trying to flee the Holocaust of Europe and under the Hitler-Nazi regime so many decisions that would stop the Jews from coming. That was a President making a political decision to set prophecy in place. These men and or women maybe in the future will do that exact thing. They will make a decision that sets prophecy in place.

SR: Well I think that is happening even right now. Jimmy, you've got a large group of people who have really because they have walked away from God they are believing a lie. They are therefore more able to believe future lies. And once you've put aside truth you can believe lies of all specters.

But you know I'm just sensing really in my heart Jimmy, I'm sensing and I think we are approaching the Rapture of the Church. I believe that that time is quickly coming upon us. And I see these two groups those who just really believe a lie and they walk away from it and we see them in positions of power; we see them exercising their authority. When the Rapture occurs they're already perfectly primed to believe the words of the Antichrist and because at that point the Lord will send strong delusion on top of it. But I think we are already seeing this enormous embracing of lies by a very large group of people that maybe half. And I think if the Rapture occur and take out the believers in this country Jimmy and boy is the world really truly set to believe the lies of the Antichrist that comes out. I'm saying I can imagine it. I think we're close.

JD: Sam Rohrer a former State Senator in Pennsylvania and now the President of the American Pastors Network explaining how politicians today are ready to believe the lie of Antichrist.

The Palestinians have rejected the Trump Peace Plan while the Israelis love it

JD: What are your thoughts about the Trump Peace Plan? Is it going to go any place at all or just a big show?

DD: Well Jimmy the details that are being published this week in Israel are accurate. It's an extremely pro Israel plan and one that the Palestinians have of course have already completely rejected and condemned without even knowing all the details. The White House said that the Palestinians were consulted but just briefly on it.

Jared Kushner the main representative for the White House, the President's son-in-law supposedly has a 50 billion dollar economic component to it; aid from mostly the Gulf states to the Palestinians and others. The President said this week that it would benefit the Palestinians greatly and the Israeli's greatly. He said, it's a good plan we've been holding on to it because of the on going electoral process in Israel that seems to be never ending.

Jimmy, the Palestinians totally rejected. The Israeli's are thrilled with it. I think the components are basically right. The recognition that Mike Pompeo announced a couple of months already that the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria are now considered legal by the United States government not as cast by the international community as illegal and that they are appraisers and they are occupiers. Basically recognizing the Jewish right to live in Judea and Samaria that I believe is just the truth. It's the facts on the ground and it makes sense to finally recognize that.

So overall I think it's a good plan. But the Palestinians are going to totally reject it and the Israeli's are expecting a step up in violent activity as called for this week by Hamas and Islamic Jihad by Iran and others, Hezbollah and Lebanon. So the Israeli's are expecting more trouble but politically they are pretty happy with it. And I think it is a recognizing reality that's one thing that President Trump seems to be pretty good at.

JD: David Dolan with a look at the Trump Peace Plan from both the Israeli and the Palestinian prospective.

David Dolan who is a long time journalist in the Middle East has covered each of the American Peace Plans for the last 30 years. The Trump Peace Plan seems to be the most promising today. However the Palestinians say it favors the Jews thus they reject Trumps deal of the century. David often says it takes two to make peace and only one party to make war.

Remember Daniel the ancient Jewish prophet wrote in Daniel 9:27 that the Antichrist will confirm a peace agreement which actually will start the clock ticking on the seven year Tribulation period. That's a treaty that all will accept.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan wants to control Turkey and Libya

JD: Let me focus just a moment on Tayyip Erdogan. He is really moving out with a bold plan for a new type of Muslim brotherhood regime to be put up in Libya. The Muslim brotherhood they're the grandaddy of all terrorist organizations why does he want them in Libya?

KT: That's right, we shouldn't forget that. The Muslim brotherhood is where it all began. Right? Al-Qaeda comes out of the Muslim brotherhood. The Arab Spring is all set off by the Muslim brotherhood. And the Muslim brotherhood has been supported most recently by two nation states, Turkey under Erdogan and Qatar. Turkey and Qatar getting together to support the Muslim brotherhood in Tripoli Libya who bring those Islamist groups and it's not just the Muslim brotherhood. To bring them to make their government which is supported by the European Union for the time being to make their government the predominate government in Libya supported by Prime Minister Sarraj in Tripoli and supported by the EU.

JD: The desire by Tayyip Erdogan for the purpose of reviving the Old Ottoman Empire and he wants to be the Pan Islamic leader of the world and head up that caliphate if it's put in place. What's his interest in Libya of course whoever controls the Mediterranean which Israel is endeavoring to do at this time as well. They're going to have a leg up and make a lot of money and be able to do pretty much what they want to do in the Islamic world. Is that the main thrust for Erdogan?

KT: I think that's very significant and very important. I think Erdogan has got many things in mind. I think he is hoping to put himself on the frontline against Israel by being in Libya. And I think he is intending to sure up the Muslim brotherhood. They have already brought several thousand ISIS fighters from Syria into Libya. Erdogan has recruited those fighters. So I think this is part of a larger scheme and we definitely have to keep our eye on this.

JD: Ken Timmerman giving us the details on Tayyip Erdogan's desire to control Libya as well as his own nation Turkey.

The ancient Jewish prophets pre-wrote history as it relates to Turkey and Libya. In Ezekiel 38 Turkey is referred to as Meshech, Tubal, Gomer and Togarmah that would be verses 2 & 6. Libya is mentioned in verse 5. In the book of Daniel chapter 11 Libya is mentioned in verse 43. Both Daniel and Ezekiel pre-wrote the end of times scenario that we see unfolding today. As an alignment of nations all Islamic form a coalition to try to wipe Israel off the face of the earth God's prophetic word will be fulfilled.

A Christian should never be anti-Semitic

JD: David as we wrap it up today even though anti-Semitism is on the rise around the world as I've just said would you not say that the last thing a Christian should ever want to do is to set himself against the Jewish people?

DJ: Absolutely Jimmy. First of all our Savior is Jewish from the tribe of Judah from the lineage of David and he will rule from the Davidic throne first for 1,000 years on this earth and then throughout eternity in the new heavens and the new earth. Secondly in Genesis chapter 12 God made 7 promises to Abraham. One of those promises said that God will bless those who bless you meaning Abraham and curse those who curse Abraham meaning Abraham and his seed through Isaac and Jacob. The Abrahamic Covenant is an eternal unconditional Covenant and that means that no failure on the part of Abraham or his descendants can remove them from the provisions of the Covenant. So it's still in effect.

So the most foolhardy thing that anyone could do is would be to set himself or his nation against the Jewish people as a whole or against individual Jews. And rather we should look for opportunities to serve and to minister to the Jewish people and to stand with the nation of Israel as she is surrounded by enemies that want to destroy her. This doesn't mean we blindly support every decision or policy made by Israel. That's different then intentionally positioning oneself as Israel's enemy. And obviously the greatest gift we can give to the Jewish people is the hope of forgiven sin and eternal life through faith in their Messiah the Lord Jesus Christ. And if a Jewish person today and ethnic Jew comes to faith in Christ he will miss that terrible Holocaust to come. He will be taken up as part of the body of Christ to be with the Lord forever.

Though the Jewish people are a small number of all the population of the earth God has chosen them for a special purpose, that's Exodus 19:5 & 6. This holy nation will be a people who God has set in place to be a testimony of a all mighty holy God and to be a testimony of the blessing that all will receive if we obey that all mighty holy God.

Remember the Messiah Jesus Christ was born of a young Jewish girl. He was born to be the Savior of the world and also to be the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, that's Revelation 19:16. God's plan for the Jewish people will be a time of Jacobs trouble, Jeremiah 30:7, and then to give them a kingdom forever.

WM: Well Jimmy we have several representative Jewish organizations outside the state of Israel and one of them is led by actually a Russian Jew by the name of Kantor. He had an idea as sometimes in the past we have discussed in Israel of course we have the Holocaust and Heroism day which is usually just after the Passover festival. But then the rest of the world and in fact the United Nations has declared the liberation of the main concentration death camp of Auschwitz as another Holocaust remembrance occasion. And that's most important actually giving you a little bit of behind the scenes for Russia because it was Russia that liberated the Auschwitz camp on January 1945. And of course in Israel there is a large Russian population. So all of these things worked together and somehow this man pulled it off with the help with the help of the Vad Vashem Holocaust Institute here in Israel.

And we had as you said almost 50 world leaders from Putin from Russia, Vice President Pence, Prince Charles the first time a British Royal personality has come to an official visit to Israel since 1948, and Presidents and Premiers. So it was something. This was planned about a year ago or so where there has been an upswing of anti-Semitic facts all across Europe and including the United States. So maybe the hands of God moved in strange ways and brought all of this together to highlight an ongoing problem. Too many people think they can still hate Jews and try and do us damage physically, verbally or otherwise.

This gathering of 50 world leaders in Jerusalem shows the importance of a fight to stop anti-Semitism which in the past resulted in the deaths of 6 million Jews during World War II. With anti-Semitism on the rise in recent days it brings forth the reality that another Jewish Holocaust will take place. This next Holocaust will be worse than the first one during World War II, that's Zechariah 13:8. Revelation 12:7-17 foretell of an angelic battle in heaven which will result with evil angels being thrown to the earth to go forth and to kill Jews so that God cannot keep His promise to His chosen people, the Jewish people. 

A split in the second largest denomination in the world over the homosexual issue is evidence that we are living in the last days

JD: David, what do you think will be the ultimate result of all of this for the United Methodist Church? And for the new more conservative denomination if this split does actually take place?

DJ: One reason this issue is important is just the sheer size of the United Methodist denomination with some 7 million members in the United States and 12 million worldwide making it the second largest Protestant Church after the Southern Baptist convention.

On January 3rd the denominations leadership announced plans to split the church over what were called fundamental differences over the homosexual issue as you noted. This all involves a process that's been going on for some time and it isn't over yet. It won't be until there's a vote at the annual convention in May that this will be settled. But what happened a couple of weeks ago is another major step. The split would result in the formation of a new denomination for those United Methodist Churches holding to the traditional and we would say the Biblical view of marriage is only between a man and a woman.

While the moral trend of society continues downward as we move deeper into the last days and we talk about this every week there could be temporary swings of the pendulum back toward Biblical values at least in some places and some degree. But Biblically I think both you and I agree we don't see a wide spread revival taking place on a global scale. But the fact is Jimmy the gospel is still the power of God of salvation as Paul wrote in Romans 1. And then later in Romans 10 Paul wrote that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. This was true 2,000 years ago and it remains true today.

JD: David James with his Bible in hand explaining the account of a split in the worlds second largest denomination over the issue of homosexuality.

Dave's report supports the headline that we are living in the last days. The apostle Paul wrote in the pastoral epistles II Timothy 3 that in the last days mankind will live in a day without natural affection, that's II Timothy 3:3. And that actually means homosexuality will be rampant in those days. Also Paul said they'll have a form of Godliness but deny the power there of, that's II Timothy 3:5. Pauls word to the pastors then from such turn away. This major denominal split in fact is tangible evidence of where this world is today. Just prior to the Rapture.

President Trump is presenting peace and the Palestinians are preparing for war

JD: The 55th Anniversary was celebrated over in Bethlehem. Why was that the case?

IM: Every year Fatah celebrates its Anniversary in Bethlehem with a march and this march honors terrorist. We have seen children with masks on and wearing plastic mock suicide belts. Now why would you have children, what message is that to children that they're going around with suicide belts? Other children walked around with RPGs; other adults walked around with hatchets. So you're talking about a military terror supporting parade by Fatah supposedly the peace partner. And this is going through the streets of Bethlehem which is a Christian city believing in Christianity certainly is promoting peace. And you've got essentially the Palestinian Authority turning this Christian city into a bastion of terror promotion.

JD: I hear from Washington DC that Donald Trump is considering presenting his peace plan for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. That doesn't seem like what Mahmoud Abbas head of the Palestinian Authority head of the Fatah the terrorist organization of the Palestinian people is looking forward to in 2020. They want more of the same violence and the arms struggle against the Jewish state.

IM: Mahmoud Abbas has already, since Trump announced that he was going to come up with a plan Abbas has already rejected it. He and everyone of his leaders have rejected it, condemned it. We've had such a full figments about the American leadership. Abbas's advisor on religion on no less. Mahmoud Abbas talked about what was being said by some of the American leaders and he said, "The erred of a Palestinian child is more important than the word of these American leaders". That's the attitude of the Palestinian Authority to the United States. The Palestinian Authority doesn't care who has been supporting them. They still have hatred with the United States. When the United States was funding them they were a little bit quieter about it but as soon as the United States isn't pouring over the money they let their hatred right out of the bag.

JD: Itamar Marcus explaining that as President Trump gets ready to present his peace plan for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict the Palestinians are preparing for war.

As Fatah, the Palestinian resistance group started by Yasser Arafat celebrates its 55th Anniversary in Bethlehem the Palestinian leadership is training Palestinian children how to fight the Jews in the arm struggle that they believe will give them victory over the Jewish people. This celebration is a precursor to the violence that the Palestinians believe will help them to kill the Jews and steal this Jewish land as foretold in Ezekiel 35:1-12.

The King of Jordan says that the Jews have no right to the God given land

JD: It seems that because of his speech that the European Parliament he is concerned about Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley once again as it relates to the possibility of the sovereign state of Israel annexing that piece of real estate. He said that this would destroy a two state solution. Now my question is is there still a two state solution and how would it destroy it?

WM: Well first of all let me quote someone that you know I know very well both in person before he passed on and his heritage Mr. Menachem Begin who said a people does not annex its own territory. In other words the area of Judea and Samaria that territory was supposed to become part of the Jewish national home as decided by the League of Nations. We think in Israel that the Jewish people and the Jewish state of Israel has the better claim to that area more than Jordan and more than even the local Arabs who are living there.

Now the two state solution really doesn't work anymore. That's because we have a Hamas state in Gaza already that's not very successful. And we have basically a Palestinian Authority state in the area of Judea and Samaria and that's not getting along very well. So Israel cannot afford to put it's future and its security and everything else that's involved in maintaining the survival and the existence of the state of Israel and the citizens in the hands of an entity that has for all purposes still stuck in the stage of terror and revolution and resistance and just coming out against a two state solution. And doing it in the European Union Jimmy which has been violently at least in verbal sense anti Israel for the past 40 years or so. I don't think that's a smart thing for him to do.

JD: Winkie Medad explaining the King of Jordan's objection to the Jewish rights to the land that the Lord promised to the Jewish people.

The Lord swore by His holy name, Ezekiel 36:22, that He is going to give the area of Judea and Samaria to the Jewish people forever. In fact the Lord told the Jews that He will give them 10 times this amount of land that they have today. That's the land covenant, Deuteronomy chapter 30.

The Arab world and the leaders of that world deny that the land is to be given to the Jewish people. And in fact they say that God's promise of land to His chosen people the Jewish people is null and void. Remember God cannot lie therefore He must give all of the land that He has promised to the Jews. Arab refusal to believe God does not negate His promise to the Jewish people.

Hamas is calling for massive prayer gatherings on Israel's holiest real estate

JD: Hamas the terrorist organization located there in the Gaza Strip calling for a massive prayer meeting, a gathering at the Temple Mount and then also another in Hebron at the Cave of the Patriarchs, Machpelah Cave. What's the deal here?

DD: Well Jimmy drawing attention once again to their claims to having exclusive Islamic control over those two holy sites. Of course ironic in that it is the Jewish Patriarchs and Matriarchs that are buried in Hebron. And of course the Temple Mount where the Jewish Temple was built that they would claim exclusive control of these sites is rather ridiculous but they do. Once again this is the center of their theology. They can't allow the Jews to gain further control over these holy sites they think because this further strengthens Israel's roots in the land and indeed it does that Jimmy. And indeed these are ancient Jewish holy sites. It's only natural that religious Jews today would want to pray at these sites.

JD: Well it's also very interesting David, this last week at the Supreme Court there in Israel they made a decision allowing the Muslims to build a Mosque up on the Temple Mount. Give me the details on that.

DD: Well yes they've been wanting to expand into the Golden Gate area. As you and I have spoken about before over 30,000 Jews went up last year in 2019. These were religious Jews going up there specifically to pray. So growing Jewish interest in the Temple Mount. And again a desire by the government to keep things as calm as possible. They're not about to throw the Muslims off of the Temple Mount or to forbid them from praying at the Machpelah Cave in Hebron. But the Jews also want those rights and also want their share of what is after all their holiest site on earth.

Dave's report is evidence that the Palestinians and Hamas in particular have no respect for the holy sites of the Jewish people. In fact the Palestinians don't want any Jew to even visit a piece of real estate that has great Biblical significance to the Jewish people.

The false claim by the Palestinians that these holy sites, the Temple Mount and the Cave of the Patriarchs that these sites belong to the Arabs is an out right lie and has prophetic significance for the future. This conflict between the Jews and the Palestinian will only be resolved with the total destruction of the Palestinian people, Obadiah verses 15-18.

Vladimir Putin is set to lead Russia politically for the rest of his life and is warning at the same time of a catastrophic Middle Eastern war in the near future

JD: The Russian Prime Minister resigned, the rest of the government resigned after Vladimir Putin announced a change that would keep him in power a lot longer than it seems like he should be according to the restrictions of times in office there in Russia. What is going on?

KT: Well Putin's term in office as President expires in 2024 and he is term limited under the Constitution. So just as he did during an earlier iteration of his lifetime in power in 2008 he's trying to switch seats with Medvedev the current Prime Minister. Putin is just doing what Putin does. And as of right now there's not an awful lot of forces we see in Russia to oppose it. Medvedev resigned so he could be reappointed in a caretaker government. Putin will switch around the constitution to create a powerful Prime Minister's job. So all of it is a kind of predictable Vladimir Putin President for life operation.

JD: He is warning now a full scale war in the Middle East will be a catastrophe. Boy that sounds like Ezekiel 38. I mean is that a premonition that he is going to be the leader of this Islamic coalition that tries to wipe Israel off the face of the earth?

KT: Well it's interesting that Putin should say this. You wonder whether this is a honest warning of real threats in the region or as you say is it a cynical warning of something that he himself has in mind. The Russians are getting increasingly involved all across the Middle East not just in Syria, not just as a strategic ally of Iran but as we just mentioned here they're getting involved with Libya as well. Russia is involved now in the Middle East in a far deeper way than we've seen them really since the early 1980s. What are their real intentions? We don't know at this point.

JD: Ken Timmerman with details on how Vladimir Putin is set up to lead Russia politically for the rest of his life and at the same time is warning of a catastrophic Middle Eastern war in the very near future.

President Putin sees himself ruling Russia for the rest of his life and for sees a catastrophic Middle Eastern war in the near future. This is a page out of Bible prophecy. In that passage Gog the leader will lead an Islamic alignment of nations to destroy the Jewish state of Israel, that's Ezekiel 38:2. Gog is the person, Magog the place which is Russia today. God's prophetic scenario is at the point of fulfillment according to Putin and prophecy.

The name for the nation, Iran, comes from Adolf Hitler and the Nazis

JD: Maybe we could start by talking about where the name Iran comes from.

DJ: That's a great question and the answer will probably surprise a lot of people. The last official name was Persia in the Western world until 1935. And what happened in 1935 was that the Iranian Ambassador to Germany had come under the influence of the Nazis who of course were advancing the idea of the superiority of the Aryan race. They were using this as an excuse to exterminate the Jewish people. So because of this influence by the Nazis the Iranian government told other countries to refer to it as Iran or the land of the Aryans because that's the name of the country in the Persian language. So the ethnic history behind the term Aryan that's where the name Iran comes from, from Aryan.

When we think of the Biblical Persian Empire which was first established by Cyrus the Great in the 500 BC that was far larger than today's Iran.

JD: And you just mentioned that Cyrus the Great established the Persian Empire. What do we know from Scripture concerning how God used Cyrus the Great?

DJ: Well in Ezra 1:1&2 we read that it was in the first year that Cyrus the Great stirred up his heart and commanded him to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem that "The word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled". Amazingly Isaiah actually does mention Cyrus by name; something that's very rare in Biblical prophecy that you have a specific name like that.

In chapters 44 & 45 of Isaiah he specifically talks about Cyrus some 150 years before he even lived. "Cyrus he is my Shepard and he shall preform all my pleasures." Same to Jerusalem, "you shall be built and to the Temple your foundation shall be laid." Then in fulfillment of prophecy this combined Medo-Persian Empire defeated the Babylonians. And it was this fall of the Babylonian Empire that set the stage for the Jewish exiles to return to their home land in three ways. First to rebuild the Temple, then to restart the Temple service, and then finally to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. It's an amazing set of prophecies.

JD: David James explaining how the modern day state of Iran got its name.

It is so interesting that the nation of Iran changed their name from Persia to Iran because of the influence of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. The Persians also developed a hatred for the Jewish people as well from Adolf Hitler who hated the Jews. That hatred has driven the Iranians to want to wipe the Jews of the face of the earth, that their name be forgotten forever, that's Psalm 83:4.

The Ukrainian Church in America may be used of God to turn America back to God

JD: When I called you while you were in Phoenix, Arizona on your way back from California you were telling me you had just spoken to a large group of Ukrainian pastors out in Sacramento, California. Can you just briefly give us a report on what that was.

SR: I can indeed. The American Pastors Network was invited to go to California. In Sacramento believe it or not there are over 200,000 Slavic individuals. That's Russian primarily, Ukrainian that are in Sacramento. Now get this 200,000 of the population of Sacramento, California out of the 1 million total are Slavic. There are 130 Slavic churches. These are gospel preaching churches in Sacramento alone.

I was able to present what the Bible says about a Biblical world view and how God has laid out His plan for the nations. And I'm telling you Jimmy the response was overwhelming. They understand a zaroust mentality, an emperor mentality. Their view of government has been influenced not by the model that God lays out in Scripture that was put into place by American founders on the bases of Christian education. So they came here for freedom from these countries because they didn't have it. But they are here but they don't really feel like they are a part yet. They said come teach us what the Bible says even though they are strong preachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ and they have had family members killed by communist leaders in the past. They don't have a full understanding of Biblical truth. And so God presented an opportunity of a significant sort and their response was just overwhelming. God has opened the door. There's something happening and we were able to be a part of that and it's going to be a developing circumstance going forward.

Sam Rohrer who is the President of the American Pastors Network and a national broadcaster recently spoke to a number of Ukrainian pastors in California who the Lord may use in a mighty way in America. Though not knowledgeable of the way Biblical human government operates their desire their desire to follow the Lord's directive in all of their lifestyle based upon Biblical principles puts them in a position that they may be used to bring an awakening in the Christian community in the United States. As these Ukrainian pastors learn and teach the Biblical prophetic truth of God's word the Lord may well revive a desire for the Rapture and the return of Jesus Christ.

JD: I want to have you give us your thinking about taking out the number two guy the military leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Soleimani. What do you think about what did happen?

SH: I think Dr. DeYoung this is a very bold move by President Trump. I believe the Iranian government was trying to bring a repeat of the 1979 Embassy speech and they were targeting the Embassy in Baghdad and President Trump was not going to be Jimmy Carter. So I think that it was necessary. I think it was an incredible message to the Iranian government.

You know people have asked me should we go into Iran and bomb Iran? No, I obviously don't believe anybody desires a full on war with Iran. Iran has too many proxies and they will strike using their proxies like Hezbollah. Just very quickly I really want people to understand, pray for Iran. Pray for the underground movement in Iran because part of the reason that you've seen these protest. Every year there's at least one or two protest of Iranians coming into the street shouting down with Islam, down with Khamenei who is the Supreme leader, because more and more young people we are seeing a revival in Iran. They estimate there could be close to 2 million now born again Christians in Iran. So that's what I think is ultimately going to change Iran. But of course I also believe Iran is mentioned in Bible prophecy of course in Ezekiel 38. I think the chess pieces coming to play as Ezekiel 38 has predicted.

So you know I just say they did an incredible job. This is a huge move and I think it set Iran back quite a ways by losing Qassem Soleimani and all the evil evil things this man has done.

JD: Shahram Hadian revealing to us that in his native born nation Iran there are possibly 2 million born again Bible believing Christians.

Shahram Hadian born in Iran came to America and got saved and then started a ministry to win Muslims to Jesus Christ and to reveal to the church the evils of Islam. Shahram is calling for the United States not to start an all out war with Iran because of the great number of Christians in this Islamic Republic. Like in Iran many will turn to Jesus Christ during the Tribulation period, Matthew 24. However remember today is the day of salvation, II Corinthians 6:2. Don't wait until the time of the Tribulation period which is a day of judgment to come to Jesus Christ.

Israel now has a laser anti-missile defense system but they are still preparing for a preemptive strike on Iran

JD: David are your sources revealing to you that this laser technology will be up and operating soon enough to be able to defend themselves or is that still a long way to go?

DD: Well Jimmy what I understand, and I'm not an expert in that area but what I understand is the problem is detecting the low flying cruise missiles. Some of these are now flying just above the ground. I mean not 2 feet but they are very hard to spot with radar or with anything. So the Iron Dome is excellent. The David Sling is excellent. What Israel has the arrow is against the major ballistic missiles. But see these were designed in the days when rockets went up into the atmosphere and then came down or at least they had to fly high enough that you could to detect them. Now these targeted curse missiles are so precise and so well flying and fast that it's a question of spotting them.
The laser would work.

Iran is determined it seems to make war at this time. The Israeli's all I can say is they're extremely concerned. We had the Chief of Staff Kochavi warned after Christmas that the public must be prepared for major attacks on cities that will include a lot of casualties. Now when the attack occurred on the US bases the Americans were expecting it. They were preparing for three days for it. They knew this would probably come right after Soleimani's funeral which it did. And so there were no casualties. But that was just because everything was in order. So the Israeli's are extremely worried. The laser weapon is a help but they're not thinking it's going to save them now. They'll have to use their air force. And Jimmy I would say now a preemptive Israeli strike on Iran is very very likely because of all of this.

JD: David Dolan explaining why Israel may also do a preemptive strike on Iran even though they have new laser technology.

The prophecy of the Gog-Magog war of Ezekiel 38 will happen and it will happen soon after the Rapture of the Church at the beginning of the Tribulation period. Iran, Ezekiel 38:5, will be a major player in that alignment of Islamic nations to try to destroy the Jewish state. However, it will not be the Iron Dome, David's Sling or even the new laser technology that will save the Jewish state. It will be the Lord Himself and that's foretold in Ezekiel 38:18-39:6.

Iran takes responsibility for the missile strike against a Ukrainian Airliner

JD: There's so many interesting and very important activities taking place. I guess the number one headline across the entire world would be the Ukrainian plane that was supposedly shot down by the Iranian military. A couple of missiles hitting the plane that was taking off at the Tehran Airport, what do we know?

KT: Well this is an extraordinary event as you say and it does look like it was hit by an Iranian air defense missile by mistake killing all 176 people on board. The plane took off shortly after Iran launched its own missile against Iraq's bases where US personnel were stationed. And it seems that the Iranian missile teams just had assumed that the Americans were going to launch a counter strike and anything in the air was fair game. It's an extraordinary act of incompetents in addition to the tragedy for all of the families involved. It just makes you wonder about Iran's military.

JD: Some of those papers reporting in the European Union are saying that the Iranians took a bulldozer out there and they just simply moved all of the remains of that aircraft out of the site. It's going to be very difficult in the investigation to come up with the truth isn't it?

KT: Well that's correct and they have also claimed that they will not turn over the black boxes to international investigators. Well guess why they wouldn't do that, because the black boxes would show an instantaneous cut off of communications with no warning or anything else. Perhaps even the pilot remarking to the co-pilot oh my gosh what's that. The Iranians are going to try to cover this up, they're doing their best, but I think on this one the truth is going to come out.

JD: Ken Timmerman with the details on the Iranian missile strike of an Ukrainian airliner.

After a number of days of denying that they had anything to do with the missile strike that brought down a Ukrainian airliner the Iranian leaders decided to admit they were responsible for that tragedy. They say that two of their technicians were the ones that accidentally fired the missile at this civilian aircraft. There is still many questions that must be answered by the Iranian leadership however what we know for sure is that Iran has no concern for human life. Islamic ideology states that any human life is expendable in order to accomplish their goal which is basically to destroy the Jewish state of Israel, that's Psalm 83:4. And that statement made evident by the Iranians stating daily that they will wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

JD: David you know one of the tougher things by doing the first broadcast of the year is trying to look ahead. And out of all of the many stories that we could follow and figure out which one we think will become the biggest and most important news that will be made in this coming year.

DJ: You know as I thought about this Jimmy I think we can almost take a play from the weather channel guys. They look at the conditions on the ground they get out all of their computer models, gather all their data. Then they put on a blindfold and start throwing darts hoping that they get at least some of it right some of the time. But as we talked last week the advantage is that we have a general road map in the word of God about where this is all going and how this is going to play out. And I'm hoping we'll end up doing a better job then the weather men do in putting this all together.

You now for political and news junkies like you and I are 2019 sure was full of a lot of important stories every week. 2020 is already off to a start that makes Bible teachers want to get up in the morning and just see what the Lord's going to do next. There's certainly any number of potential stories that we could talk about. I sent you a list of some of those that I think will be some of the most important as we look over the years that's ahead of us. One of the most important is obviously the upcoming Presidential election because there's so much at stake when it comes to the shape and direction of our country for years to come. And we could easily get pulled down into the politics which is exactly what we don't want to do or to not promote either political party or individual candidates. But I think we can talk about platforms and trajectories of individuals and those that they pull into their spears of orbits and the type of people who are drawn toward them.

JD: You know I think you and I have a new title prognosticators. That's what those weather guys are. I love the way you describe how they give us the weather. They take a dart and throw it with a blindfold on to make sure they don't know where to even throw the dart.

The prophetic passages in the Bible give us the end time scenario that is God's plan for the future. As we make decisions for the future we must know what that future will be according to the word of God. II Peter chapter 1 says that we have a more sure word of prophecy more sure then even an eyewitness account to the event, that according to the apostle Peter. John another apostle, wrote what Jesus revealed to him in the book of Revelation. And that's that sure word of prophecy. And remember the apostle Paul told us to preach that word, that's II Timothy 4:1-4.

A national TV journalist referred to Noah and the Flood as a fairy tale

JD: Chuck Todd who leads up the Meet the Press program on the NBC network eluted to a letter and it referred to Noah and the Flood as a fairy tale. What Biblical evidence do we have and why would you say that is wrong?

RP: When it comes to simply the geological record the Bible tells us that when we look at even population about 6,000 years ago we had the first population through Adam and Eve. About 4,500 years ago we realized there was sort of a bottle neck genetically because after the Great Flood you had the reduction of the human rates down to just 8 people. And it starts again with them. Important thing of this is that when you're looking at this you get a much more accurate and much more complete look at the genetic record.

When we have studies scientifically that put us in a time frame and the Bible says in that same time frame the only way to account for this is the restart of humanity after the Great Flood. But then you go to things like the flood accounts that exists. All of these ancient accounts are very interestingly parallel to the Bible. But they pre-date the Bible. They have some elements in them which deal with the shape of the Ark or the duration of the Flood or the case the fact that it's a global event. And if a worldwide flood never happened why are there so many stories about it. So you compare that to the Bible which is probably the latest of the accounts. You find a very straight forward historical account with details that are accurate. They can go out and build the Ark. In fact they did that over in Ohio. So the Bible could not have borrowed its material from that. So something happened. The whole of the Old Testament cites the Flood. The New Testament, Jesus and the apostles all cite the Flood. So it's either the whole Bible or no Bible to the Flood account.

JD: Dr. Randall Price with his input on whether the Biblical account of Noah and the Flood is a fairy tale.

Biblical history is often challenged by so called intellectuals as to its authenticity. Chuck Todd stated on Meet the Press this last weekend does not stand up to worldwide historic accounts. Dr. Price's response to Todd is based upon truth not a myth. Jesus Christ confirmed the Biblical account of Noah and the Flood, that's Matthew 24:37. In fact the Bible is filled with such historic accounts. This report also confirms prophetic truth in the future. Jesus said as it was in the days of Noah so shall it also be in the days of His coming back to the earth.

The last step in preparations to rebuild a Temple in Jerusalem is to train Jews to visit the Temple Mount

JD: I want you, and I know you’re not a prophet nor the son of a prophet but I want you to think about the main story as we look at the Temple Mount as it relates to this very key location in all of Judaism, the Temple Mount and the next Temple that will be put there. I want you to give us what you project to be the main news story coming out of that current event in this year 2020.

WM: Well Jimmy it's not exactly an event. It's a phenomenon. The numbers of Jews that are entering into the Temple Mount compound daily, weekly and then on special times like the Hanukkah eight day period that we had just recently. Sometimes we are getting 1,500 to 2,000 people a day depending on the weather. Over this past year we're reaching if I'm not mistaken close to 30,000 visits of Jews during this time. I always said we're still in the process of education people and raising consciousness and the more people we have involved the better it will be.

Now I don't want to belabor our listeners but Jewish brides always go to what we call the Mikveh, the ritual pool of water before their wedding. And that's when they're able to go up because otherwise they wouldn't be ritually pure. So if you begin to see how this grows and extends we have a good possibility of really increasing the mass what we would call I guess in physics. The critical mass of people who are becoming much more familiar with and much concerned with things that are going up on the Temple Mount.

JD: Winkie Medad explaining the last step in preparations for rebuilding a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Winkie's report was exciting because visiting the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is the final step to train Jews how to prepare them for worship at the next Temple in Jerusalem. That training process hit its peak in 2019. 2020 will be a year of great importance for setting up Jewish worshipers to go up onto the Temple Mount as directed by the Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament.

Prophecy says that there will be a Temple there in Jerusalem. Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15 and Revelation 11:1 & 2. These prophecy could be fulfilled in 2020.

Israel's main enemy is dead, now what?

JD: What’s the concern of the Prime Minister and the state of Israel with this elimination of this high-ranking Iranian military man?

DD: Qassem Soleimani is really the leader of Iran not officially; it’s Ayatollah Khamenei. But Soleimani is the military leader. He has been a key factor in everything they have been doing for the past several decades. The head of the al-Quds which is of course the Arabic name for Jerusalem. It means the holy. The al-Quds Revolutionary forces and has been responsible as President Trump has pointed out for the deaths of hundreds of Americans in Iraq mainly but, in other parts of the region are responsible for Iranian forces massing in Syria to the north of Israel. He is considered to be Israel’s greatest enemy.

Now the showdown militarily with Iran that Israel has been expecting for many years he is a major factor in the whole Iranian Revolution in everything they have been doing. His assassination, his death is indeed a major factor that will probably leave us at full war with Iran. I tend to think and I’ve been saying this for some months on your program we tend to under estimate Iran at what they have the capability to do. We are at war Jimmy and the Israelis realize it and the Americans realize it. President Trump didn’t do this lightly I’m sure. This man should have probably been taken out many years ago. And the al-Cuds force is a major force and we will now see whatever Iran does to respond to this. But definitely we are in a new era.
