The Majority of Israelis are willing to give up parts of Jerusalem for real peace with the Palestinians
A recent poll taken among Israelis showed that 63% of Israelis are willing to make concessions on the borders of Jerusalem in exchange for 'real peace' with the Palestinians; however, 54% of those who are willing to make these concessions are not will to give up the Western Wall or the Jewish Quarter in the old city.
Even though a majority of Israeli Jews are ready to make concessions on Jerusalem, 75% of those polled admitted they do not believe that 'real peace' with the Palestinians is a possibility.

Former Chief Rabbi Calls the Palestinians, "Amalekites"
Rabbi Mordecai Eliyahu, a former chief Rabbi of Israel says that the Palestinians are descendents of Amalek, a long time enemy of the Jewish people. The Rabbi is calling for the annihilation of the families of the Palestinian terrorist for their murderous attacks on the Jewish people.
During the Jewish holy day of Purim, the villain of the Biblical story of Ester was Haman, who the Rabbi says was a descendent of Amalek. Amalek was an enemy of the Jewish people from the time of Moses, when the Amalekites tried to annihilate the Jewish people. The Rabbi says that the first king of Israel failed to be obedient when he was told to wipe out all of the Amalekites which resulted in Haman's plan to kill all of the Jews and the present day Palestinian terrorist slaughter of the Jewish people.

Study calls for international supervision of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem
According to a recently released study carried out by a Jerusalem think tank, Israelis and Palestinians should allow the international community to supervise Jerusalem's Temple Mount and the city's other holy sites.
The document, titled "Jerusalem's Historic Basin - a Situation Report and Alternatives for a Solution," states that continued full Israeli sovereignty would be rejected by the Palestinians and the international community. The study reveals that Israeli officials in fact receive international sovereignty on the Temple Mount as a desecration and they will endeavor to fight the implementation of such a plan.

Iraq in the midst of a Civil War - Allawi
Anti-war demonstrations around the world marked the third anniversary of the US-lead allied invasion of Iraq to take down the Saddam Hussein regime and give the Iraqi people back control of their country.
The former interim Iraqi prime minister, Iyad Allawi, claims that Iraq is now involved in a civil war. Allawi said the slow process of bringing together a permanent Iraqi government has only allowed the insurgents to foster a civil war among the different factions of the Iraqi people.
However, there are reports coming out of Iraq that 80% of the population believes that they are better off now with Saddam gone, even though there is continuing sectarian violence.

A Muslim leader says there is a war going on between the West and Islam and Islam will win
One of Norway's most controversial Muslim leaders, Mullah Krekar, says that the West is in a war with Islam and Islam will eventually win this war. The Mullah referred to the developments within Europe where the number of Muslims is "expanding like mosquitos."

The Norwegian government is planning to hollow out a cave on the ice bound island of Spitzbergen to hold a seed bank designed to withstand global catastrophies like nuclear war or natural disasters that would destroy the earth's source of food.

A Jewish first Temple period artifact was discovered in piles of rubble from Jerusalem's Temple Mount

Israel's security forces are on high alert as Jews in Israel and around the world commemorate the rescue from the total annihilation of all Jewish people some 2,500 years ago during the time of the Medo-Persian Empire as recorded in the Bible book of Esther. Pope Benedict has called for unity and universality of the Church
Pope Benedict has stepped up his appeals to the Orthodox Church after a 1,000 year rift with the Church and is now calling for a unified church in the world saying that this unity is a fundamental priority of his papacy. The Pope stressed the unity and universality of the Church as he acknowledged key differences over the clout of the Pope, but he said in this time of the world full of skepticism and doubts unity was needed to help the world believe.
Since the installation of Pope Benedict, he has reached out to the Jewish community, invited Muslim leaders to the Vatican, and now he is calling for unity and universality among the churches of the world, and agenda Pope Benedict believes is his calling in our world today.

If the UN Security Council cannot stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, Israel will take action
Israeli Defense Minister, Shaul Mofaz, at a press conference in Berlin, Germany said that Israel is ready to use military action to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear WMD if the UN Security Council is incapable of action against what Israel and the West believe is a covert Iranian nuclear weapons program.
Mofaz, who was actually born in Iran, said that the state of Israel has the right to give all the security that is needed to the people of Israel, "We must defend ourselves", he said. Mofaz said sweeping inspection powers must be given to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to smoke out any secret nuclear arms related activities in Iran; a deep and large inspection within all the nuclear locations in Iran must take place.

Iran will attack Israel with enough force to destroy the Jewish state and Israel will not be able to defend itself, that is according to Bible prophecy. Israel's ruling political party has plans to give away historically significant Biblical land
The former Israeli Security Service Chief Avi Dichter, an official in Israel's ruling political party, the Kadima Party, says that the party has plans for a new round of unilateral pullouts from Jewish settlements in the area of Judea and Samaria, often referred to as the West Bank.
Dichter said that Kadima would immediately start working on a new disengagement plan if it won the March 28th ballot and became the leader of the next Israeli government. A division in the Kadima party leadership has emerged even as other party candidates and the Jewish settlers themselves are vowing to not allow any more unilateral withdrawals from Israeli territories, fearing that further disengagement would rip the nation of Israel completely apart.

Health Organization: Bird Flu has the source of a human flu pandemic is unprecedented in scope

Israel, Jordan, and the PA have signed an agreement to move ahead on the Peace Canal Deal
Governmental ministers from Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Authority have signed an agreement that will pave the way for the construction of a canal that will link the Red Sea and the Dead Sea which will generate electricity, provide fresh water for the thirsty region, and prevent the Dead Sea from drying up.
The Red-Dead Project will pipe water from 500 ft. above sea level at the Gulf of Aqaba in Jordan on the Red Sea coast to the Dead Sea, 1,300 ft. below sea level, to refill the Dead Sea which has been losing water over the years through evaporation, jeopardizing the Dead Sea industry a major part of the economy of both Jordan and Israel.

Just over a year ago at an economic conference in Jordan, the two countries discussed the Red-Dead Project which has now been agreed to and is moving ahead. The wealth associated with the Dead Sea to both Jordan and Israel is a major factor in these two countries economically, and thus the reason to move ahead with the project.
Israeli engineers believe that they can use the water and its piping system to extract gold and silver from the bottom of the Dead Sea, which actually has washed down to this lowest spot on the face of the earth since the flood of Noah some 4,500 years ago. Bible prophecy does speak of the alignment of nations, revealed in Ezekiel 38, who will be drawn into Israel to take a spoil of gold and silver; Ezekiel 38:13.

The end of the Oil Era within three years could cause trouble like never before in human history
Members of the European Union's parliament heard a report recently that the world will witness the end of the Oil Era in this present generation's lifetime and they should focus research and investment on developing renewable energy over the next 25 years in order to usher in a third industrial revolution after steam and oil power.
Jeremy Rifkin, chief of the Washington based foundation on economic trends, indicated that the world will have used up half of its oil resources possibly by 2010 and should it peak in the next 2 or 3 years, the world will be in trouble like never before human history.

A top Islamic cleric is calling for the murder of the Jews
Sheikh Yousef al-Qaradawi, a top Islamic cleric, a leader in the Muslim brotherhood, recently delivered a speech on Middle East television calling on Muslims to murder Jews in the name of Islam, because then everything will be on the side of the Muslims and against the Jews.
Qaradawi said that when the Muslims, the Arabs, the Palestinians enter into a war, they do so to worship Allah, to enter the war not as a Palestinian, a Jordanian, a Syrian, or an Arab, but as Muslims and under the banner of Islam and under the banner of serving Allah and they will be victorious.

Leading conservative evangelical pastors are saying that Jewish people can go to Heaven without Jesus Christ and the cross
According to the Jerusalem Post newspaper, televangelist John Hagee and an Orthodox Jewish rabbi have persuaded Baptist preacher Jerry Falwell that Jewish people have a special relationship to God through the revelation at Mount Sinai and therefore Jews do not need to go through Jesus Christ or the cross to get to Heaven.
Hagee, a pastor down in San Antonio, Texas, has held this position for twenty-five years and supposedly has worked together with an Orthodox Jewish rabbi to convince Falwell of this controversial doctrine referred to as Dual Covenant Theology.

Christian leaders coming together to form a Political Action Committee (PAC) to support the modern-day state of Israel is somewhat of a controversial move on the part of true Bible believing Christians, if for no other reason than the fact that Israel is a secular state in our world and may do things that are not biblically expedient.
John Hagee, the national chairman for Christians United for Israel, has taken a public position against proselytizing the Jews and says he represents thirty million evangelical Christians in the US who are supporting his new Christian PAC. Hagee's doctrine of Dual Covenant Theology runs counter to mainstream Christianity and also to the biblical doctrine as expressed by this broadcaster.
It does seem, however to fit an End Times doctrine described by the apostle Paul in a letter to young Timothy in a warning to watch for as the Last Days come into focus. In First Timothy 4:1, Paul writes that in the Last Days there will be those who depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. Jesus Christ said in John 14:6, that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no man can go to the Father, in other words go to Heaven, except through Him and the cross.
